I love this! This is how I have been feeling recently and you have given me the motivation to just start filming again. I'm studying neuroscience and psychology so a little different to you but I love seeing the differences between courses and how they impact our lives
Hi!! I stumbled across this page and you’re doing exactly what I wanna do when I grow up! ❤ in the future I want to be able to surf often and work in the ocean. You are a big inspiration!!
I just discovered your channel and its exactly what I,ve been looking for, Im yr11 student whos just about to start my gcses next week and this gave me so much motivation to keep working hard so i can be a marine biologist in the futuree!!
Hi! Thank you so much for your lovely comment!! Let me know if there’s ever anything I can help with or any videos that you would find helpful! Have a great day and good luck for your GCSEs, you’re doing amazing:)
omg i just found your channel and i already love it so much, im in 11th grade rn and hope to study marine bio in uni. love the vid and youre soooo inspiring
id love to do marine biology at uni but im not sure which uni to go to and exactly what course would be best. it would be great if you made a vlog about where you go and what you study!!! :))
Hi!! I’ll definitely try and do a comparison video of different uk unis for marine biology if you’d be interested? What unis are you looking at? Or if you want message me on tiktok or instagram and we can have a chat :)
coooool didi 💟 your videos are what I needed actually 😄 I'm currently in 11th grade and I wanna get my degree in marine biology as it's the only topic that fascinates me the mostt ! 💗
what subjects did u do at a-level? I start in September but I can’t make up my mind what I want to do post college so I’m stuck on what to do and your degree is one of the options I’m considering
Hi, it’s so exciting that you’re thinking about marine biology!! The good thing about A-levels is they’re pretty broad so you don’t have to worry too much about your options, just pick ones you’ll enjoy. However, most marine bio courses will require at least one science subject and some will require two and all the unis are slightly different in terms of if they classify psychology and environmental science as a science. Sorry that’s a lot of information! I would just have a look at uni courses you’re interested in at unis you want to go to and see what the entry requirements are. I hope that’s helpful and please just message me if you have any other questions :)
Hi, that’s awesome!! I’m still at university at the moment so can’t give you much insight on job experience as of yet but the volunteering I’ve done so far I’ve really enjoyed. If you’re passionate about it you should go for it!
Hey!! Southampton is really great as they're linked with the National Oceanographic Centre so they have so many cool facilities as well as great networking opportunities. Exeter is really good as they're also quite well ranked and has international field trips and is more remote (could be a positive or negative depending on your opinion). Plymouth is also great with facilities and their links with the Plymouth Marine Laboratory and aquarium. They also offer a diving module as well as the University of Hull. St Andrews is also ranked really great for marine biology. I could make a video about the different unis if that would be helpful? :)
You’ll have to look at the spec of the courses you’re looking at. I would assume marine biology is more geared towards understanding marine life and marine conservation is more towards protecting them although they’ll both overlap!
@@livswholeliving ok mam in future I finish my degree in marine biologyor marine conservation ,can I get job opportunity mam.I confused mam so pls which I choose

Volunteer as much as you can and just immerse yourself in the subject. You could do a course or something online!
