When you said you couldn’t say the word alopecia without tearing up it made me tear up. But for a little different reason. I have a few different auto immune diseases and rheumatoid arthritis was the first and major one, and I knew I had it for a long time but kind of denied it. I tried to hide it when I couldn’t do things and hide my disfigured hands and feet. And the first time I told someone out loud I remember tearing up. So I think I get it. And I’m here because having several auto immune diseases has affected my hair a lot. I also have an auto immune condition that affects my hair.
