I love how you keep saying it´s very difficult and at the same time you make it look like its the easyst thing in the world :D Great video, will try to learn these drills the next month :)
I've been devilsticking for about 7 years, and I still have a lot of trouble with "Handstick Flip Drill" but after seeing how good you're at it and how cool it looks when you flip the sticks one after the other whilst keeping the middle stick going I'm going to practise it more. Awesome video dude. *Thumbs Up*
I've been searching for drills to improve for a while, and I'm really glad I found this. This is probably the most useful video I've seen on this site. Thank you so much for posting! This has been a huge help!
By the way, I'm not sure if you know but that behind the back drill you can actually get the middle stick around your back if you keep the middle stick in between the sticks as you move your hands around your back.
Hello HNWpodcasts, i would like to tell you that your videos have brought myself and my friends countless hours of joy and pleasant devil-stickery. i hope that you are doing very well in your life. thank you for everything. Yours in the stick trade, Jeffrey Boland
As mentioned, these aren't actually devil sticks, these are flower sticks. Yes, devil sticks and flower sticks are different. Devil sticks are usually a tapered stick, sometimes weighted to slow the flipping motion, and flower sticks are made with tassels at each end to slow the rolling/spinning motion. Holding a devil stick flat on each control stick and pointing the sticks downward will cause it to roll off the end, whereas flower sticks have tassels and they will "grip" the control sticks much better, and won't roll off nearly as easy. Devil sticks are a whole different monster compared to flower sticks, and usually have much different tricks involved, although the basic fundamentals are the same. For example, trying the "helicopter" trick with devil sticks is much harder than with flower sticks, since the stick is allowed to both flip and rotate.
Have you tried double devilsticking? I have been trying to do the double one-handed tic-tocs simultaneously for both hands. Markus Furtner is the only guy I have ever seen do it.
Hey man know this was a long time ago but I had to comment you are a good teacher for being a kid. However now you are no longer a kid because its like 5 years later. You should get back to making videos
I got mine online. Its hit or miss with quality, but seem you gotta spend money for quality. Try flow toys .com or wicked sticks designs on IG. Happy flowing!!!
Cool! Yeah, actually I learned most of my stuff from what center ring was before it was center ring. I've been a student of Greg for a long time and would recommend him for anyone. I hope you love circus!
He looks like the kind of guy I wish I was friends with while growing up, instead of the jocks I befriended that now are a boring sports fan with the same job, still drinks too much, with a woman that he knocked up while drunk and is now married to (or not), and just going through the motions of being a dad to children that were technically accidents.
every trick is hard to learn in the beginning, but those tricks are still 'beginner' tricks. don't fool yourself and think that when you get those down you are the stick master guys. i am NOT saying i am a master or something, but after you browse video's for quite some time and/ or go on with leaning new tricks you will realize those are not all that hard. just saying ;)
Alexander's comment was kind of unhelpful. Here is the full story. 1. The name Devil Sticks comes from a Greek word. It is not meant or has anything to do with the Devil or any religious being. Instead Devil refers to the passing and movement of the baton when juggling. 2. Yes, I use flower sticks (which are the same a devil stick but instead have a construction with tassels at the end to (contrary to belief) don't necessarily slow the devil stick down. What the tassels do do however is cause the stick to be weighted closer the end and thus perform differently. 3. I use flower sticks for these videos because I can control their motion at an extremely slow pace and thus make the tutorials easier to follow.

I'm already showing improvement! These videos are great.

He's the definition of a nerd. Good with the devil sticks though

These are flower sticks not devil sticks. Devil sticks are the ones with out the flowery bits at the ends.
Why do they call it devil sticks?
They dont. This is flowersticks.

Alexander Lundberg it's called devil sticks and flower sticks, usually referred to in the area you are in (from my personal experience)
But yes they do have some differences
Alexander Lundberg exactly
Why yours sticks doesn't slides?
The stick should not slide. Do yours have rubber on them?
MoRe LuNaStiX MaDnEsS
tic tac ay ouh
2 questions:
1) HOW THE HECK DOES HE DO THIS????????????????
2) Did you go to Center Ring Circus school with Greg?
Nice tricks. But try it wth a Devilstick. A Flowerstick is much easier!
thats a flower stick NOT a devil stick
This is a flower stick ur juggling not an devil stick otherwise good vid
that's a flower sticks
Your drills are to hard👿👿
They are flower sticks
ho cheet
