Her many experiences include re-launching MTV in India in the 1990's, as well as launching Michael Jackson's Heal The World Foundation. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

Love the crumpled shirt, makes you look all the more beautiful because you are natural and not a fashion victim. We have had Indian visitors , the Rao family, in our country cabin here in Australia recently. Our family histories do impact upon us. Thank you for your story, it is a valuable one, particularly the British invasion and then later, the educational enrichment that the British culture has had upon Indian culture.

Surprised she dropped her website name in her talk... as I thought that was against the Tedx Talk 'rules'
