If anyone is wondering, this film is set within a alternate timeline. Parts 1-4 are still canon but anything after that has been retconned from the main series. This leaves the door open for a prequel, so we can bridge the gap between Part 4 and ReAwakening. At some point still, I want to continue making a few sequels as well (I have ideas for at least 4 more parts). I had one started a few years ago but I never finished it…probably for the best, now we can make it with PC.
When I made the original version I tried keeping it simple, so that I could finish it quicker and not have to rely on so much. Back then we only had so many people helping us make films, so I had to cut corners… especially on console. Though I still feel I did a pretty good job with it at the time. It was a good starting point to work off of for the Remake, Noru definitely out did himself and put my old film to shame.
Could you do a similar horror slasher in the HALLOWEEN universe?
It is something I’ve considered, I do have ideas for few other horror movie franchises as well. Noru’s the only one with a capable computer to run GTAV, so maybe someday in the future when I get a better PC I’ll get around to trying to make some other stuff.
The head gushers poster when that guy died was a nice touch.

That moment when Jason stands back and walks to the truck when Jerry is trying to start it gave me chills. That doesn't usually happen with gta v vids.

This was a true pain in the ass near the end but was a great learning experience. Sure you can pull some some neat stuff with mods but the set-up takes 2x longer than just telling people what to do when on console lol. Also, exporting this was a horrible, Video Glitches kept showing up at random spots...
@@noru122 Oh that would suck... get the thing exported and having to watch the whole thing just to notice a small problem just to export again... ouch.

First thing. That was great, May have had a slow start but that end was amazing. Second, those Jason Kills were great and well done for being created on GTA V. Thrid, I heard bbpoopdeck in there lol. Fan of his work as well.
WOW, that was awesome, It actually felt like an old Friday flick. You guys beat out all of the recent fan films.
That was actually really good. Just like a real Friday film. The deaths were great, probably the best I've seen in any other GTA Friday film. Although I will say this. Some of those dialogue scenes dragged on a bit too long. You could of easily shaved 5 mins off if they were very slightly trimmed down.

I can not describe how much I really enjoyed this. I mean, just wow. I have see some shitty GTA/Friday films before but this one? It's miles ahead of anything anyone has ever done using GTA V. Congrats on this. It was really well done!

This was really good. But I would’ve liked Jerry to have survived. He had ‘True Grit’ to use a John Wayne phrase. I figured he’d be the last one alive and the only one to survive.

Thank ya kindly, we wanted the film to feel as close to the Friday movies as we were capable of doing. We both worked on it together, but the bulk of the editing and scene setups were all Noru.

I hope to at some point make a few more sequels, but there is a gap that I need to fill as far as connecting to Part 4. Want to make a prequel that explains how he got from the cemetery to the water. I think it might be the next Friday film I make before moving on to sequels, if so we’ll probably use Part 6 Jason for it.

How did Noru pull that explosion off at the end?
He said it was not easy, a lot of trial and error. I think it was a bunch of dynamic props he put together to make it look like it was the same shed.

This was great. You use Addon peds for the Jason skin right? Sucks that the latest GTA update broke that mod and it's unlikely the author will ever update it. I'd say you released this just in time lol.
Hopefully we can find some workarounds for future stuff, sucks it had to break.

They weren’t mods that we uploaded, the signs were just image replacements (edited in photoshop). Not really sure about the crystal lake modifications, I think Noru just threw a bunch of trees and rocks down in the background to make it look like it was a lake.
Make a scream fan film one out of gta if you can i havent seen a good fan film of scream in a long time one of my favorites same with friday the 13th and halloween
Hopefully one day I’ll get around to making more fan films based on other horror franchises. I’d love to work on a bunch of different stuff when I get a better computer.

This was made before Addon Peds broke and Dynamic props were used for the explosion.
@@SuddenStrikeProductions I get that, I mean how did you get it to blow apart like that with a explosion like that? Sticky Bombs, grenades don't leave an explosion that big and the visual only explosions effects you can use don't do anything. It's just visual. That's what I'm curious about.
I’m not 100% sure what Noru did with that scene, it might have been a mixture of both explosives and in game visual effects at the same time.
@@SuddenStrikeProductions Yup. I timed a few sticky bomb explosions with the visual FX explosion. Timing had to be perfect or otherwise I would have to reset the whole scene.

Yep we have several more in the works. An unconnected “Friday13 project” is being worked on now” And a prequel to this film is currently still being wrote.

Maybe using this method you could make a better version of Part 8 where Jason rampaging in a big city is a bigger part of the movie.
That’s the plan at some point. We got at least 4 more films planned out, that one specifically would probably be the second last one in the series. So it won’t be for awhile. Were slowly working on the prequel to ReAwakening at the moment, but unsure when it’ll be done.

We’ll give you permission to do what you’d like, but we can’t guarantee that we’ll be able to be involved with your project in the future. We’re very busy, plus we have plans for 3 more sequels and a prequel ourselves. It’s just gonna take time to make those films, especially with other projects on the go.

Yeah, Jerry ain’t too bright.😅 The realtor only gave him vague details, all for his own sake to make the sale. As far as the name “Camp Crystal Lake” or the sign, he just didn’t know about the dark backstory of the place. It was talked about a bit during the campfire scene. He just wanted to fix up a summer camp and bought it thinking it was just run down.
