its flawed but im used to flawed games. i have 1000 hours in fallout 4 for christs sake. i enjoyed the game. its fun. personally, i give it 6.5/10.

Honest review but the game is still even with all those flaws insanely fun 😅
Especially when played with a friend, takes that fun and absolutely skyrockets the experience to a whole new level. I’m honestly so confused why so many people can’t help but hate the game

That stealth part had me rollin😂 I can stand when it says “silent takedown” and some other stuff happens.
@andrizzle5887 The stealth part was stupid he showed an enemy that was too powerful for him to stealth, so he pressed silent takedown when he could only stealth strike that single part made this whole video absolete to me.

Just started playing this with my brother a week ago since we live so far away I thought it would be nice to game share it with him for us to co-op. Best co-op game you can find right now honestly. I haven’t had this much fun since we were still on the couch back in like 2008. Despite the issues I love this game

It wasn't a bad game at all. Damn near all games have issues. I had issues too with it but overall, it was a 7/10
It’s not a bad game, and it’s even better when you have someone to play with. Especially your brother. I really enjoyed it. I beat it, beat on new game plus after that and then months later I played it one more time on new game.
The co-op has been so fun. I never thought I'd get to patrol gotham with my friends in a game and it work so well. I've loved it

Honestly some UA-camrs fake the 60 seconds so I put a timer for 60 seconds and this video was actually 60 seconds

The game wasn't as bad as u made it out to be bro. The game is a 7/10. Spiderman & Miles Morales had repetitve enemies too

I am a huge fan of Batman stories and stuff and I got a 1 hour free trail for this game and o only got through 30mins and I hated it, and this video explains exactly why I hated it
just played it tonight for the first time saw it was on ps plus this review about sums it up i did have some fun with it thought im planning on atleast finishing the story
even with all it's flaws this game was and is so fun to play and satisfying to me. 5/10 doesn't do it justice.
Honestly the game would be alot more fun if they took inspiration from the arkham knight series.

Dude the game is freaking awesome. It blows my mind how crazy picky gamers are today. The customization is fun as hell the fact you can out elemental effects to your weapons fun you unlock better means of traversal pretty early. The momentum abilitys are fun there's a few different enemy types to go against and you can run into a team mate just chilling doin there own thing. Graphics looks beautiful seriously lost on the graphics hate looks great to me. Harley Quinn's story line is quite fun to do. I been playing steady red hood and let me say the game gets more fun more intense the longer you play and the more abilities you unlock and there's a jet you can unlock fast travel spots to get around the mp faster Dude bitching about stealth stealth is fine! Yes Arkham knight had more of this and that more moves more options but this game does give you 4 players that are. All unique from one another. Storyline is fun and there's side storylines like Harley. clay face is freaking awesome. The idea of Gotham after the death of batman is intriguing come on man I just named so many high points to this game that you just seem to want to leave out to join this hate train

@LewisYates_1894 if you never compared games you would never be able to tell the difference between a good game and a trash game, the fact of the matter is that it's been 8 years since Arkham Knight and even more since the others, that's more than enough time for them to become the standard and expectation for future DC games (especially with technological improvements).
But alright I'll give a comparison that isn't Arkham Knight, it may not be multiplayer (anymore) but it's a third person action game with the same amount of focus on movement and lore, and get this it's from one of the most oversaturated franchises to date; Transformers: Fall of Cybertron which released a LONG time ago and yet improves upon everything shown, it has better combat, better graphics (somehow), a just better story and villain arc all together, more thought out and fun movement system, more characters with better story arcs and unique playstyles, a GOOD FINALE!
And that's just to name a few. In all honesty Gotham Knights just isn't a good game, all they really did was just make another Division/Avengers/Anthem but with less creativity...
At least Anthem had badass exosuits going for it :P
Go play any of the original Arkham games and tell me this isn’t trash.

Agreed with everything here. Another issue i had was this game was built purely with multiplayer in mind and it's super apparent when it comes to bosses (usually in doubles or even triples of the boss enemy) who take forever to kill and are incredibly difficult fighting alone.
Sure there's flaws. But DAMN I am having a blast with it.
The bullet sponges aren't that bad if you look at the gear for kore then 5 seconds

I'm one of the biggest fans of batman and I know all the bat family's back story so me personally can't wait
i enjoyed the game, a friend who is not into DC at all really enjoyed it too. i just wish the patrols were done as a group instead of solo. Surprisingly, i miss the riddler.

I think the game is great and serves as an opportunity for them to make different DC games that aren’t necessarily Batman but are in his universe. Like a Talon and the Court of Owls would make a great game concept where you play as Calvin Rose, a Talon that seeked to take down the court of owls after discovering there corruption. I’d love to play as Calvin Rose. A very unheard of hero in the DC universe

Agreed. I stopped playing half way through. Just my opinion, for how long we had to wait for it and the push back dates, I expected more.

I started playing about a week ago and I had my doubts but it’s really fun! I liked the story and the combat is pretty fun when you get the hang of it!
And yet it's still better than suicide squad ktjl

I liked the ones we got, but 3 side villains definitely wasn't enough.
As soon as i saw the pride flag in the base and Robins email about wearing a pride flag as a cape i cut it off and traded it in.
Aye i just started to run this game and im actually having a blast, but I do recommend 100% to play with a buddy. Playing by yourself does get hella boring.

Game was trash. Work at GameStop, rented the game, they give us 4 days to play and return a game to the store. Within the first hour I felt like I needed to just unplug. Absolutely terrible

I feel like adding level ups and armour to hero games could be fun but never is, games like the much better spider man and batman allow for great cosmetics and a story people who aren't great at video games can have a fun time progressing through
Always wait before buying a new game reasons well price will most likely go down bugs in the game are fixed so you’ll most likely be able to enjoy the story a lot more and you’ll have extra content if you finish the game

I had so many complaints about this game that I couldn't even come close to fitting them all into 1 minute 😂

Personally, I really like the game, I think a lot of ppl are comparing it to the Arkham games though, your right about the bullet sponges though. Especially clayface💀. I had to turn on VERY EASY difficulty just to get past him, since I started his quest at too much of a low level.
(For those who don’t know, on some villain cases, once you start the final act, you can’t go out to patrol or grind until you complete it.)
Playing it right now. I really enjoy it, and i'm not really a superhero game fan. I do understand it is flawed, but I think that as a game, it is fun.
After getting the hang of combat, the game is insane fun ngl. Played an entire playthrough with Red Hood cause he's my favorite of the bunch, currently doing my second run with Nightwing - and jesus christ, playing as Red Hood is like playing with a giant rock tied to your feet compared to Nightwing...
That's my only complaint. It feels like all 4 characters should've been 1 character with all their skills. Especially Batgirls health bonuses and Robins stealth skills. Cause rn, it just feels like playing 1/4 character. Not to speak of Red Hood's lack of reload speed buffs, good health regens or takedowns on larger enemies... man's built like a gorilla and can't do takedowns on enemies that Robin can🥴 -and i guess the big enemies with insane health is pretty stupid too. -also, Red Hood has a large focus on grabbing enemies. An entire faction near the endgame can't even be grabbed. Amazing👍🏻
If you play on series s there is a hole ass one second delayed response time u move forward then your character like oh shit I gotta move 😂😂

Ok stealth is only hard when your red hood and it’s just the dodge for combat and yea the always getting new stuff to craft the grind is at least fun so really it’s a 7/10 or an 8/10

Well I have a 1 minute time limit so it's hard, but I did say I liked the side villain stories and missions.

Idk I’d say more of a 7.5 of 10 so far. I haven’t finished yet but it’s been fun. The fighting isn’t as bad as the critics have said
It is fun and enjoyable to play and there is so much to appreciate it as a batman/comic book fan. Far from perfect, has flaws, and is not a top tier game. Still doesn't make it a terrible experience. You don't have to compare every game to something better. I just grabbed it for 30$ and worth every penny. Not every game is going to be worth 70$ bucks to you. If you're on the fence about quality wait for price drop....

I feel that's a bit harsh in my opinion. I think the game a ton of fun. I wish Batmab was playable and didn't have to.die... twice. Smh. But, for a short story, also being able to play online with friends, honestly the enemies aren't that spongy, you want spongy, play Marvel's Avengers .

Ngl i like this game like a lot 10/10 for me i already completed this game story like 3 times and going for 4 now 1 and 2 were normal gameplay knowing the game on new game and ng+ and now 3,4,5 and 6 will be with all the characters and then the 7 and 8 will be completing the game 100%
This game get wayyyy to harsh criticism. It’s actually really fun. Just listen to this guy. Who complains that a Batman open world is “too big”??? wtf?? It has fast travel points that make going around really easy. Traversing issues aren’t even THAT bad. Stealth inconsistencies again. Not THAT bad. It does happen from time to time. The gear system is badass. The mod chips need work tho but I’ve never seen a Batman game with this type of rarity/crafting system. Definitely enjoying the game for what it is atm. Does need some fixes. My enjoyment is a 8.5/10. The game itself is like a 7.8/10. It’s pretty fun unless you’re a nit pick

I picked knight wing to do first, played the mission and was like okay this isn’t too bad combat just seems like it’s not connecting really. Grapple feels worse than Fortnite. But the worst…. The stupid ass bike, never uninstalled a game quicker

I just played this game cause it’s free on ps plus and first impressions. Frame rate is not good for a brand new game. Tlou 2 and even Arkham knight feel smoother and they are way old now. Characters are weird. they make red hood way to friendly he should be a outcast kind of and he should have had lethal rounds and be a cold blooded killer. you can tell tuned his and the overall darkness of the Batman universe down for ratings and it feels half assed. Cutscenes should also look a lot better. But the gameplay is pretty fun but I don’t know if will get stale or not we will see as I get further into the game.
Edit after playing the game for a while. I have criticisms. First why do the characters act like spider man. Red hood says “ play stupid games get a beat down” red hood would never say that. Also why does red hood look like a buff ray liotta. I really don’t like his or nightwings design. They are way to jacked. They should of stuck with the base comic design for red hood with the leather jacket. Also stop making me go back to belfry every time just to start a mission. I feel I am going there way to much to debrief with the team over nothing. the enemy’s can be spongy making the combat stale a lot faster and this doge system is getting old pretty fast. Should of stuck with the counter kill thing. The rpg element should not be ripped out and gutted completely. This gear system doesn’t work with this game . Robin and red hoods traversel elements are super just ehh like we didn’t want it just give red a grapple and get rid of robins teleport bullshit and just stick with the cape. I’m only bitching so much cause I know this studio can make a good game and this isn’t even close to previous games in the Batman series. I don’t think it’s there fault necessarily, I think Is ts with higher ups behind the scenes cause even the Batman game goats rocksteady. Put out a trailer for they’re new dc universe game suicide squad and that looks even worse. That looks like Gotham knights with a extra twenty pounds of horseshit stuffed in the code.

I played gk and I think it was better than what others say. Sure it’s no Arkham knight but it was alright. The combat was nice except for red hood who kinda throws lazy punches. Story was alright imo, nothing impressive tho. I see ppl compare it to the avengers game which I can say gk is much better (put rdr2 and the distance of better is from earth to the end of the universe). Overall I would rate this game 4-5/10. Avengers is 1/10 and that’s for the story

Well it’s not canon with the Arkham Games, Batgirl is paralyzed, if they were actually gonna make it a sequel to the Arkham games they should’ve put bat woman in it instead.

I know that's what most videogames cost, but that's still a lot of money towards something that may be fun but also may be very meh
