Hi there, thanks for your questions! The position of the flashing LED in Wall Mode is used as a reference point, but does not have a significant impact on the measurement as the device takes into account the location of the plane/face of the wall using an extrapolation method. We have more information about this in our help article here: docs.moasure.com/en/use-cases/measure-buildings. If you are interested in creating floor plans, then we have a new device coming in 2025 which may be more suitable - you can sign up for more information here: www.moasure.com/pages/moasure-for-floor-plans
See you handle windows and doors differently each time .....for example you captured the brick sides of the window glass then the window glass then the other windows youve done neither ... Very confusing
Hi there, this video is a demonstration of the different techniques and placements you can use for Wall Mode to capture different surfaces, such as walls, windows and doors, rather than a comprehensive site diagram which includes each individual window etc. For complete site diagrams, you would employ the technique demonstrated by Simon at 2:00 for capturing the spaces you've mentioned. We've taken your feedback on board for future demonstration videos to ensure this is clearer - thank you!
Does it matter if the light is positioned top left or top right? Also do you not need to position in corners literally the middle of the wall? Thanks
