This is more meaningful music than 99% of the stuff we are asked to accept as "jazz" today, and which, to me, is just a lot of horrible noise. The Spanish tinge is Beautiful !

Jazz is an American art form, yet so many different cultures master it and help sustain it. Bravo to Joan and his wonderfully talented students.
Eva is such a brilliant musician. It is a joy to hear her play and sing.
I'm fascinated by how comfortable Joan's musicians are on stage, even when they're children. Joan Chamorro is a great man doing God's work

Gabriel Amargant appears on Andrea Moits' CD Do Outro Do Lado recorded in 2017 but released more recently. That's a little surprise.
