A marvelous performance, by Beth Hart AND Joe Bonamassa! They complement each other so well. TRY THIS ONE: Beth Hart singing Caught Out in the Rain (Live at the Royal Albert Hall). When she drops to her knees, I don't know what to make of it. I don't believe in reincarnation ... but I swear at that moment, it's Janis Joplin.
Please put this in his other video your suggestions here or he will not be able to find it.
This collaboration between Joe Bonamassa and Beth Hart is a match made in heaven. The amount of emotion, soul and passion coming from both of them is palpable. I highly recommend that you also watch them perform “I’ll take care of you”. I can assure you that you will love their rendition of the song.
That face you see from Joe is called the guitar “Stank Face”.
Who could possibly trun away from this. The music is tastefully understated. While the vocals completely crush anything that gets in the way
She is one of my favorite, she is the emotion she sings.
She is so captivating and channels her vocals while staying true to the original spirit of the song she's covering. Like you said, she shows restraint here yet gives every word full attention, brimming with emotion. This woman knows the blues and delivers it up, baring her soul.
You're right, not a one off. Everything she does is absolute fire. I'm excited for you because you have so much more fabulous material to check out.
Like I said, she’s the Floor Jansen of the blues world. 😄
Joe Bonamassa at 14 went on tour with B.B. King. A couple great Joe songs are "Angel of Mercy","Woke up dreaming", and "Drive"
Some really great performances by Beth are "Caught up in the rain" live at royal albert hall also "leave the light on" and "Setting me free" also with Joe Bonamassa check out "I'll take care of you"
I listened to this piece " Rather go blind" sung by Etta James, Tina Turner ,Beyoncè and others. Some were great Interpretations In live others in studio , in movies with choruses, with vocalists, with "tears" flowing from eyes with long eyelashes, all certainly with participation according to their soul, but I can say that, at least for me, Beth, especially the version at the Paradise in Amsterdam. with Joe Bonamassa at guitar ,really put a soul, through voice and gestures, which encompasses love, fear, jealousy, resentment, anger and, at the end you feel the sweetness and pain together asking not to be abandoned and, preferring to say that it would be better to go blind not to see the betrayal Love from Roma,Italy.
The 51 Telecaster that Joe is playing is worth more than everything I own.
I have 72 Summers on the books at this point and this is the absolute hands-down best performance I have ever seen either in person or through the videos I watch absolutely amazing
Holy pumpking! I don’t smoke and I drink very seldom but with this I could have some whiskey on the rocks and Café Créme cigarillo, man that was quite an earcandy. Chills allover!
Your reactions are the best! You actually feel the music. 🔥🔥👏🏼👏🏼
I've been playing drums since i was twelve years old, I'm 48 now and have been in many bands playimg many styles and have played with some amazing guitarists and I've never understood exactly how it is that they transfer what they are feeling to the fretboard. It amazes me. She is fo sho feelin it when she sings. I like her voice too.
just watched your first reaction to her video and had to jump to this one, because I wanted to see more of that. your reactions to her are great. 😁
A couple of other suggestions for great singers Nightwish Ghost Love Score (Floor Jansen), Epica Sancta Terra Featuring Floor Jansen(Simone Simons and Floor Duet) also OG3NE Bohemian Rhapsody Home Isolation Version. These acts from the Netherlands prove there is something in the water there that creates awesome singers.
Suggestions don't make my list when you put them in my reaction comments. Put your suggestions in my video titled Your Suggestions Here and I'll put them on my list 👍

Wauw i like this music so mutch.. glad that beth hard is a lot in the netherlands
She had some hits also in the US. She had a very hard live down there in the states.
Am I the One (Paradiso Amsterdam) was 2005 I think and this one with Joe Bonamassa (Royal Theatre Carré) was 2013.
My boss introduced me to Joe Bonamassa. After hearing him, I was immediately hooked and tracked down pretty much everything he's ever ever released (studio, live and video stuff). When I heard the albums that he recorded with Beth, I then introduced my boss to her and then HE was hooked! (Tit for tat haha!). I love both of these incredible artists.
I'm not 100% certain of this (so don't quote me), but I heard that Beth had some issues with substances and pretty much ruined her early career, getting dropped by her label and such. Joe, being a fan of hers, brought her out on tour with him to help her get back on her feet and she hasn't looked back.
As for Joe, all of his material is pretty much top notch but there's one event that I have to mention. He did a group of shows called Tour De Force: Live In London that was something to behold...4 shows in 5 nights in four different venues, with four different set lists and 4 different backing bands! Joe played a total 79 songs for those shows (some songs were played multiple times though). That's just crazy! Not going to get too much into Joe's history, but he was a guitar prodigy that BB King took under his wing at the age of 12...he opened for BB for 20 shows. He's also a self described "guitar geek" who collects vintage guitars. Cheers!
Thanks for the info!
Yes,Beth went through some substance abuse troubles for years, but she came roaring back till you see the results here. Kudos to her and her husband for fighting through that period. She is a stupendous added value to the world of gritty blues, dare I say a new queen rising? Emotionally driven voice of experience !
Jman rect to Beth Hart - A change is gonna come at Echoplex
Ohhhhh man you need to react to "I'll take care of of you" live at the Beacon theatre, official video

No doubt!
She’s definitely not a one of! Joe is also a master! I seen both, multiple times in concert. But this is a colab of master entertainers! Thanks Jman.
Dribbel
Loved it!
You should check out her cover of Zeppelin's Whole Lotta Love. She's in a small studio with just a guitarist sitting next to her, and she sings SITTING DOWN. It's fire! m.ua-cam.com/video/lUaut2m4YaI/v-deo.html

Like I said on your previous reaction, I much prefer this performance, much more subdued and emotional, instead of showoffish, plus I can really appreciate that when Joe did his thing, she just let him have the space. Too many singers will not shut up during a solo, still wanting the spotlight and this irritates me to no end.
