I've been to Coors one time and I really liked it. Sat in the upper deck on the right field side and had a great view of the the Rocky Mountains like you showed. Great video as always!
i was out in denver in april, i didn't wanna leave either! i went to coors too, it's beautiful!
Bummer for her team lost that game but at least you guys had fun time in Colorado
"I'm sad I don't want to leave." My feelings exactly after being at Wednesday's Double header in 119 right at the top corner of the front row rail, looking down the tunnel. And in the first game of the Texas series we were in the first row of 122. Being able to look into the dugout from my seat was really cool, it's as close as you can get to the top step of the dugout as a fan, and the usher gave my wife a ball after the game. I watched a Toro right handed foul ball bounce right into my hand, but the net kept me from capturing it.Tuesday I had tickets in mid 120 and used the day game to travel the Coliseum one last time. My first game at the Coliseum was April 24 1968. Seeing the infield through the frame of concrete for the first time as an eight year old is burnt into my mind. The clay was so so red and the grass was so so green. Mickey Mantle hit a first inning homer with 0 on and 2 outs. The A's walked it off in the 11th. Campaneris, Jackson and my favorite player Rick Monday scored the runs and Tony La Russa even pinch ran for the A's. I was at the last two games of the 88 WS and in 89 caught the first two games sneaking into game 1 through the front office and shaking Sandy Alderson's hand along the way. My last game at the Coliseum before this trip I saw Cal and Billy Ripken playing the left side of the O's infield together.. My Mom's first A's game was in 1936, and her all time favorite A's player was Wally Moses. Her first date with my Dad was in 1948 at Shibe Park. I always keep score. And no the A's do not provide a score card to fans. In fact they sent me on a wild goose chase to find one. My first concert at the Coliseum was the Dead and the Who, after that The Stones, Skynyrd, AC/DC, Fleetwood Mac, and so many more. The Coliseum, I'm going to miss her
