- Welcome back to the 888MF UA-cam channel. Whilst we were in Florida we went to visit Orbit Racing. One of their customers is legendary racing car driver Jay Cochran, and he happens to own the only artic silver 997 GT3 RS 4.0 in the world and a GT2 RS!!! We take a look around his car, and some other very special Porsches at Orbit Racing.

What an awesome Porsche collections.
Like a kid in a candy store. So much stuff you'd want to look at, let alone drive them. You simply can't contain excitement when you walk around what is in essence automotive history.
It was over-excitement and a lack of sleep!

Ouch. Yes I was a little overweight in this video. I bought a Trek bike in March 2020 and have been cycling on average 11km a day since. Thanks for the comment. Always nice to know there are kind people watching UA-cam!!!!!!!

I want to drive that Speedster. But the 904 was the most expensive car at Orbit.
what model year is the 2.7 rs? Is it before the first turbo 911?

Cool video, always liked the 4.0 - was a sort of turquoise blue 4.0 turned up at knockhill in Scotland a couple of years ago, pics aren't great but are a few on my instagram account

Can you tell us a bit more about your professional life? What kind of work do you do?
Definitely my favourite 911, not sure if that engine trumps that of a Carrera GT though. What you should do is a comparison between a 997.2 Carrera on a sport chassis w/ a manual gearbox and PCCB's against the 4.0. I can provide the Carrera, all i need in return is a drive of the black 4.0, deal?!

This video I didn’t enjoy that much . Your other videos were so amazing . I think this video you were just trying to make a point about 4.0 LT and the other thing is that you kept interrupting them from talking ! I hope to see some videos just like you used to make them .
Thanks for the feedback. I can see how you would come to that conclusion, but we had to edit the video down from 1 hour to 19 mins so we cut out quite a lot of talking. I am very passionate about the 4.0 and I think that comes across, even if it is not appreciated by some. More videos comes soon though.... keep watching this space!!

“The only silver GT3 RS 4 litre in the world”. The title of the video is accurate though. Think there’s 2 more, but maybe in GT Silver. One with no decals and the other with Orange wheels and mirrors etc.
There are only 39 PTS 997 GT3 RS 4.0 in the world. This is the only Artic Silver example. Any other comments on the video?

I totally agree with you. I love my 981 Spyder. During the interview I asked Jay a few times what his favourite car was as I thought it was interesting to hear that despite having a 2.7RS in front of him he still chose his 997 GT3 RS 4.0.

That's for your eloquent response. I have driven a 2.4S that was bored out to 2.7RS and it was lovely. However, just like Jay Cochran, I prefer the 997 GT3 RS 4.0 to drive, and very happy that I own one!
