What a journey! Those climbs look unreal, and the alpaca scene feels like one of those wild trail moments that you couldn’t dream up if you tried. This is a beautiful story, thanks for sharing.
To meet you was as inspiring as now watching your travel on this video. From that moment I have been following your adventures and you were so brave with this route. Thanks guys for stoping to say hello and being such a nice humans. You are in my memory from the time I see you in the road, your energy was amazing. Gracias chicos!
Hey guys ! I’m a french guy who met you in Brazil when you where riding on the Estrada Real ! I started to speak to you because I was surprise to see two Salsa bikes in Ouro Preto, no matter if you don’t remember haha My girlfriend and I followed the marks let by your René Herse tires for a few days after that 😀 Since, we are also bikepacking, which was already in project and I realized that you’re kind of masters in that domain ! It’s really nice to see you went riding in Bolivia. I spent one year in Sucre university time ago so it’s a very special country to me. Makes me dream to came a third time there, riding a bicycle this time ! Abrazo grande chicos ! Thomas and Nolwenn, the two french people of Ouro Preto's street
Your journey ended in the best way possible. Sorry. It sucks to not reach your goal and have random shit take you down. But what an amazing life lesson. So many lessons.
haha we did! But we were only 5 days into the trip and still quite close to La Paz, might as well go back and get a proper fix that would last another month of "freestyle descents" haha. Thanks for watching!
I’m so impressed guys! The courage it takes to even attempt this whole route. Sorry about the wrist :( so glad you didn’t let it ruin your journey. I biked on the same road in the area around Potosi. This area is magnificent. Agreed that bolivia feels left behind, but on the other hand so real bc of that. Thanks for the video.
Tough ride, my type of ride! Well done 👍🏻 you should share elevation and distance in metric system too I don’t like it when you talk on imperial and can’t get a real idea of elevation and distance.
