(as a novice DIYer) I have just discovered this channel, and did not hesitate to subscribe. So, first of all, big MERCI for the time you take to create all the amazing animations. I already watched few, and the reveal wealth of information. Specifically about hollow-to-hollow column connection, I naively think that there could be also other possibilities, in addition to what you demonstrated. E.g. I am thinking of welding a smaller-sized column to one of the columns, and let the other column slide/sleeve in. Then, a strong connection can be made with bolts. But, there could be also other possibilities, as well. Any comments on this?

Do you have any other connections in mind for hollow beam- hollow column sections?
Why we did not directly weld the two hollow pipes?
What software are you using for 3D animation?
