- A Comparison of three versions of the 20th Century Fox Fanfare. First, the original soundtrack recording from "The Empire Strikes Back," then the Moscow Symphony, and finally, The Fauxharmonic Orchestra version.
@dondonp12004 - Sounds right to me. The recording in the video here is from iTunes, where it was listed as "from the original soundtrack." Go figure.
I like the original a lot better.... It sounds... oh, I don't know... ORIGINAL
Cool! But, from 0:08 to 0:28, that isn't the London Symphony Orchestra recording of the 20th Century Fox Fanfare (conducted by John Williams) that was heard in the original soundtrack to 'Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back', that was the National Philharmonic Orchestra (conducted by Charles Gerhardt) that was heard in the re-recording soundtrack to 'Star Wars Episode V'.
Vienna Symphonic Library. Full version.
Moscow just isn't as loud...
@3y3raven - do you mean the original 1970s version, or the original re-release in the 1990s? Or is it the same? Give us a link if you happen to find it!
Which VST was used for the third version of the fanfare?
Where did you get the original soundtrack recording from "The Empire Strikes Back"?
@rod1014 - iTunes.
