You can swipe the touch pad in the center console to skip tracks (forward and backwards), and you can skip track on the right side of the steering wheel as long as the left main screen shows the music playing on it.
You can set up a shortcut on the steering wheel as well. I feel like Mercedes designers must sit in silence while driving because there’s no easy way to change songs. It’s such an annoying oversight
This. I swipe on the touchpad directly. Putting the music in the middle to then swipe on the steering wheel is a bit annoying as I prefer having the sat nav directions there. Plus you then swipe up/Dow to go back/forward which is counter intuitive.
Glad to see this channel become from Marques shooting and still car with his thoughts about driving, features and look to a blend of channels like Throttle House and Doug Demuro.. way to go guys. Rooting for you guys!!
The Panamera e has a flat trunk without that crazy bump, and it has new air suspension that can pop the car up for entry and stability which is next level- for similar money.
@@JDCALDECOTT Who cares lol. If you don't like it don't buy it. It doesn't affect your life in any way. You want him to beg for your forgiveness or something?
imo mercedes did a really good job on their infotainment system. I was driving an eqe while mine was in the shop and the infotainment was awesome. And it still had physical buttons for important features which is becoming very rare nowadays.
For media control, you can also swipe from the forward/back icon in the centre touch pad to switch songs or stations without touching the screen or you could use your left steering wheel touch pad, put media into your instrument cluster and then swipe left or right too change songs from the steering wheel
It doesn't always work that way. @@B4R0N. For example torque is normally in newtonmeters, but for some reason Americans use A BODY PART TIMES BRITISH MONE FOR TORQUE WTH 1 lb-ft is 1.35582... Newtonmeters. or, the initial acceleration in bald eagle terms is 0-60mph = 97km/h The industry standard is 0-100km/h. So it would be 0-62.1mph. etc..... I understand that a big part of the viewers are 'muricans but the world uses the metric system. So I think it's easier for them to put metrics on the screen than thousands of people making 5 different calculations for every single metric.
For next track: Say, “next track” Or Swipe the front of the touchpad Or If in music menu click the “>” icon Or In classic dashboard display, when the music source is displayed between the gauges, swipe to the right on the steering wheel arrow.
Excited for you all to check out the new Porsche Marcan! Starting at €75,000 here in Germany, it offers stunning looks and an incredible driving experience ❤
for the touchpad in the console, there is a shortcut. You can swipe from left to right or right to left, to not press on the screen additonally. The swipe has to happen above the little edge underneath the icons.
10:58 You can just swipe the upper edge left or right on the touch pad when something is playing and it'll skip forward or back.. and you can set up your gauge cluster so you can use the arrows on the left on your steering wheel to skip forward or backwards..
At 10:54: You dont have to click the button to then click the next button on the screen to switch to the next or previous song. You can just swipe on the next/back button on the touchpad and it will switch to the next song.
seems like theres a misunderstanding of the track pad. all you have to do with switching tracks is click the middle play/pause and then swipe left or right on the trackpad. you dont need to go to the screen.
For moving between tracks, I believe that the following should work: (1) in the “Classic” instrument view, set the center panel to be the current audio track; (2) then, using the “” arrows on the left hand side, you can move backward/forward through the music. (This also works with CarPlay.)
to switch to the next (or last) song you can swipe on the trackpad symbols left and right (no need to touch on the screen) or on the steering wheel ...
11:07 you can also hit that button in the middle and then swipe right there to the left or right. Also you can switch songs in den middle of your driver screen, so between the speed and the RPM.
As someone who has grown up with a huge American influence, from the lifestyle to the movies to news... It's absolutely shocking to see that roads over there are even worse than what I see daily... That AMG suspension was doing an insanely good job of keeping the video smooth on the interior

10:55, you can swipe left and right to change track no need to press it and change it through the screen and also you can do it through the steering wheel
As a person who drives MB, I find that to skip a track, press the skip button, then swipe left for the previous or right for the next track. I hope this is helpful to you.
Definitely the competitors of this would be Panamera, m8 comp grand coupe (or alpina B8 grand coupe quite an interesting blend of performance and luxury on that one) and Bentley continental. The lucid is a nice addition but tbh I don't think someone looking to buy a car like this would consider a lucid, but I might be wrong :). @@LingLing1337 I mean similar price, similar performance, similar comfort and luxury... Good review. I have an E450 coupe. Point of clarification. The entertainment system looks the same as mine. You actually don't have to reach back up to the touch screen to forward reverse a song. It can all be done with the touch pad.
