Because the point of an adventure game is to have an *adventure*, lol. If you don't like exploring, then the Zelda series simply wasn't meant for you, but that doesn't mean everyone else should dislike it just because you do. There's a reason people have 200+ hours put into these games. For me personally, the travelling is really fun~ Discovering secrets, collecting items and treasure, or simply enjoying the peace and scenery before reaching the next battle. Seeing one of the dragons in the distance for the first time was truly a magical moment. If you felt nothing for these things, then I can only suggest you try to avoid adventure rpg's in the future.
