Sarde (noun), [Sa-r-de]: A colloquial term used in the Middle East to describe the act of letting go & kicking off a stream of consciousness and a rambling narrative.
The Sarde After Dinner Podcast is a free space based out of the heart of Beirut, Lebanon, where Médéa Azouri & Mouin Jaber discuss a wide range of topics (usually) held behind closed doors in an open and simple way with guests from all walks of life.

First time viewer of Sarde After Dinner and really enjoyed this broad ranging and respectful lively discussion. I saw Bassem in London a few weeks ago and he really connected with the crowd and he’s right,after a few minutes, everybody forgot why they came other than to enjoy the very funny comedy yet they were all united in heart and with the cause of the moment. Bassem has provided an enormous service to the people of Palestine and the supporters, by giving an eloquent and intelligent voice (and charismatic delivery of the same!) such that people in the West have finally begun to listen and learn.
this is one of the best discussions I have watched about this topic. very sober , educational and makes you laugh all at the same time.

I think this was the best interview for Bassem. I have proudly watched them all from Piers to PBD to Cuomo to Lex to so many random ones he's done along the way since October 7th, but this one was an hour long and covered every interview's content quicker and deeper. غريب تتهم الناس بالعاطفية وفي نفس الوقت تقول انك كنت (تحبه) ومازلت (تحبه) يعني لم تعمل عقلك حول الرجل وكنت عاطفيا ايضا...الرجل لما كان في الاتجاه الغلط للانه كان موجه لهدف كانت الناس تكرهه ولما وقف مع قضية عادلة بغض النظر عن نواياه الناس احبته ، العاقل من يوزن المواقف ومن يحكم على الاشخاص من خلال تاريخه وتوجهاته وليس امتلاك ذاكرة سمك
@@adelashour3253احسنت، اسلوبه حلو لكن منطقه في التحليل خاطئ في كثير من الاحيان.
معظم العرب يحبونه لا لانه يتكلم الحقيقة وانما لانه يقول ما يريدون ان يسمعون وما تطرب اليه اذانهم. فاذا ما تحدث بسوء على شئ يحبونه وان كان كلامه صحيح تماما فسيكرهونه.
نفس الشئ ينطبق على الغربيين لكن بدرجة اقل بكثير.
بالمناسبة انت تقع في نفس الغلط وتقول انه يجب الحكم على الناس حسب تاريخهم ومواقفهم وتوجهاتهم وهذا شئ خاطئ. الحكم على ما يقوله الناس يجب ان يكون على اساس صحة ومنطقية ما يقولون وان كان يتعارض مع توجهاتنا وقناعاتنا الشخصية.
@@baghdeda كلامك موزون ،ولكن الرجل للاسف ما زال في غييه وما زال يلقي بالتهم على حمااس وعلى مرسي مع انهم الجانب المظلوم او الجانب الاضعف في حين انه لا يتجرأ على انتقاد السيسي ، الرجل له اسبقيات لا يمكن ان نتجاهلها وما زال يصر انه مجرد كوميديان وليس صاحب مبدأ او قضية قالها في كثير من المقابلات ، لذلك اسمحلي اخي من السذاجة ان نحكم على الاشخاص على اساس قصة انية أو موضوع ترند ونتناسى تاريخه المخزي واراؤه الظالمة ،بطبيعة الحال وفي احسن التقديرات يمكن ان يملك الشخص رأيا عادلا اتجاه قضية ما لان البشر ليسوا شياطين بالمطلق..وجميعنا جنود لله ... ولكن ايضا هذا لا يجعل منه شخص يمكن الوثوق به او احيانا حتى احترامه....فما بالك بحبه!

أستاذ باسم يوسف اعجبتني كثيرا شخصيتك العميقة المتواضعة إنك تدخل في طبقات طبقات المجتمع الأمريكي وهذا يدل على مهنيتك العالية لأنك بالنهاية تطرق إلى المشاكل الاجتماعية من خلال رسالة توجيهية اصلاحية وهذا قمة من الذكاء الكوميديا هادفه.....
في حضرتك تكلمت عن أموال دافيعي الضرائب التي تذهب إلى المنظمات والدول الخارجية التي لا تستحقها، ولكن من الناحية الأخرى وهناك أموال كثيرة أمريكية تقدر بالمليارات الدولارات تذهب إلى بلاد عربية كمصر بلدك الأم الأردن فلسطين أو الأراضي الفلسطينية أو دولة فلسطين وتمنح بلدان كثيرة حول العالم من أمريكا اللاتينية التي تحترف رقصةتها الجميلة من salsa and tango....
العالم كله لديه منظمات تين أو ثلاثة يشرفون على دعمها أي المجتمعات الدولية بالمال والمعونات الإنسانية ولكن الفلسطينيين لديهم الأنوروا منظمة واحدة وهم بين الداخل والخارج يشكل مون 10,000,000 إنسان المقارنة إلى 7,000,000,000 إنسان محتاج المساعدات على الكرة الأرضية أمريكا تخصص منظمة الأنوروا مبلغ كبير كل سنة عادة عن كل الدول اليونيسيف تساعد الفلسطينيين أيضا يعني أرجو أن تعالج القضايا بعينين وليس بعين واحدة....
نعم أمريكا مجتمع ونظام الرأسمالي حر وكل الحملات الانتخابية ممول من منظمات تجارية بحتة لا يهمها مصلحة المواطن المنتخب، ولكن الديمقراطية في أمريكا و الحرية ومساحة الحرية مقارنة بالدول العربية أفضل حالا بكثير من الاصوات في الآباء المؤسسين ،سنوا أحسن دساتير وأول الدساتير في العالم أرجو من المهاجرين وأجيالهم القادمة لا يغيرون من مساحة هذه الحرية وطمن بالك عندما تصير ابنتك تلميذا في جامعات أمريكا إن لم تتعاطف مع الإرهاب وكانت موضوعية وعادل في اتجاهاتتها وولاوءها الأول والأخير،لمصلحة وطنها أمريكا ستكون بماءمن هي والحريات في بلد الفرص"ولايات المتحدة الأمريكية"........❤
كلامك فيه جانب من الصحه ولكن الحريه لن تطول طويلا. وتذكر كلامي هناك فريق كبير من المتطرفين. الصهاينة من المسيحين في امريكا وهم أصحاب نفوذ وحزب سياسي. كبير في امريكا. ثم إن الولاء يا عزيزي لايكون لوطن الولاء لله ولرسوله انتبه.
