Final Fantasy VII Remake is an upcoming action role-playing game developed and published by Square Enix. The game is a remake of the PlayStation game Final Fantasy VII. FF7 Remake launches in April 2020 on PS4. Players control mercenary Cloud Strife as he and AVALANCHE battle the corrupt Shinra megacorporation and the legendary soldier Sephiroth. An ex-SOLDIER: first class, Cloud came to Midgar to start a new chapter of his life as a mercenary. At the invitation of his childhood friend, Tifa, he accepted a job with Avalanche. He may bring his buster sword to bear against Shinra troopers, but he does not care for plight of the planet. For him, this is a job and nothing more. Mako the lifeblood of the planet and the fuel that powers the city of Midgar. By exploiting this resource through their Mako Reactors, the Shinra Electric Power Company has all but seized control of the entire world. A ragtag group of idealists, known as Avalanche, are one of the last bastions of resistance. Cloud, an elite SOLDIER operative turned mercenary, takes part in an Avalanche operation to destroy Mako Reactor 1 in the city of Midgar.

I'm allowed to share 1 hour of footage in total until the game is released in Japan this Thursday. I decided to wait with the walkthrough until Thursday since the first hour of this game is just the demo that Square Enix released last month anyways. Well, at least he lives up to SOLDIER's mantra, always maintain that Honor!
Although he's a bit psycho, he definitely has that SOLDIER honor.
Personally I liked the introduction of Roche as a new character. With all the awe and fear from other characters saying how badass SOLDIERs are, Roche's character as a new adversary highlights SOLDIER as a tiered special operations organization with skilled and well-trained members that stand out as a cut above the conventional Shinra infantry and their reliance on drone weapon platforms. This was something the original game did not touch on, as they were only random mooks you fight without being boss battles. His flamboyant personality captures the essence of how many members of the special operations community are oddballs (IMHO), but also skilled professionals who are force multipliers on the battlefield.
Think I need watch this at 3-4 times a day to up my testosterone levels. After all, the game turned the key and My engine roars!!!
Roche's got style, i like him.
He's a great boss to fight on hardmode and with this song it just makes it much better

Finals fantasy 7 I would say this game is really terrific and amazing graphics and great design details is fantastic ever I enjoyed every moment of it I actually love it very much and it looks so awesome.

Who is writing this cringy shit?! If there was something good to say I would but the writing for the dialogue is GARBAGE. And how were those robots missing any flesh when standing around shooting at Cloud, Biggs, Wedge point blank almost?

I guess I'm not totally against it. It makes sense that Shinra would send actual SOLDIER's against them if they were this annoying. But at the same time it wasn't in the original story. I wonder if they'll make Jessie and Aerith survive this time.
maybe it just filling some story hole in the original and adding some spice. i hope they dont change the main story line.

That's not true. There weren't any named soldiers but when you go into Shinra Tower to save Aerith and get Red you run into Soldier enemies in there.

Imagine him in the installment as the guy Shinra sends to chase after the gang and once he spots Tifa his line will be:
"So, you've finally found your blonde soldier, always hoped it'll be me" and Cloud would just seethe with anger hahahaha

Yeah but at the same time when you hear just how much got cut from the ps1 copy of the game I for one am happy to see what they do and remember that this a remake and you will always have the original

Its not that they're changing the core story, they're just expanding and adding sub plots to make midgar a richer place.
I understand the fight is a duel, but Roche is too easy to telegraph. Woulda figured they'd make him more aggressive.

Yes, brand new. A third class soldier. He’s basically the rival trope character.

roche is not a new character he was in final fantasy crisis core only you couldn't see his face because he was wearing a helmet it was the scene were zack meets cloud for the first-time
