We have friends who are full time RVrs. They wanted out of the heat this summer. We live in Seal Rock, OR and I knew they have Thousand Trails membership and let them know. There is one 4 miles north of us on the coast and one in Pacific City and the one in Seaside. They were able to book 7 weeks on the coast using these 3 parks and are enjoying the summer weather here. They move up to Seaside in a few days. I shared your video with them. Very informative. Thanks. Kathleen
@@georgebuscay8511 Thanks for watching - and sharing! We also stayed at TT Whalers Rest in Oregon and have a video on it also. The climate is amazing on the Oregon coast!
@FollowTheMoon We full timed RVd after we retired for a few years. We planned to keep going, but we happened to be staying in the Florence/Newport area when we saw this cute little stucco house and bought it. We love the weather year round. It's never too hot or cold, and not as much rain as I thought. Being from Northern NV, we never got much rain. We did have very hot summers and very cold winters in CarsonCity. I was never a fan of either after 45 years of it. My dad was in the Navy, and we always lived by the ocean. He was last stationed in Monterey, and we stayed because that's where my mom's side of the family lived. My husband and I moved to NV, and I thought we'd never live by the ocean again. Well, now we do across the street from it. Have a good day, week, month, and years. Kathleen
We loved this video. Each time we plan a trip I get a little anxiety over how tight the spots will be, how spaced they are, how the place looks and if we are going to like it or not. We have a trip planned here this weekend and your video brought all those fears to rest. Great infromation and the drive through of the entire park was perfect, it let us see where we would like to park and where we would rather not park. We are new to the RV life and was given a Thousandtrails membership with our new RV, so we have been going out once a month to try out the memberships. This should be another great place to try.
Hi there I love the scenic beauty of Oregon, I was in Eastern Oregon and saw Hells Canyon, we got the chance to drive through the canyon, it was just so amazing to me knowing now that it is deeper than the Grand Canyon, thanks for sharing your Oregon video ❤❤
We stayed there on the 3 day weekend, ended up buying the lifetime package 2nd from the top package, matter of fact we just reserved for next 3 day in September
Thanks for watching! Seaside is a great campground and Thousand Trails is a great value. Enjoy all of the great TT parks in the area - Whalers Rest was also one of our favorites.
It was so nice meeting you two! I do enjoy this Thousand Trails camp ground in Cottonwood,AZ. We were on the OR. COAST this past summer as you were. Hopefully we will run into you here at Valley Verde! By the way this is Brenda. We met this morning! My shepherd Carries the frisbee…
Hi Doug and Cathy, we are Thousand Trail members so I love your videos. We have 2 Pom's and I would love to know what and where you got the item Maggie Mae is laying on? Our girls Maddie May and Maci May would love it. TIA. Enjoy!
Thanks for watching! That is a folding loveseat and "coffee table" we purchased at a Camping World a couple of years back. I wouldn't be surprised Amazon would have something similar also. Hopefully one of these days, Maddie May and Maci May will get to meet up with Maggie Mae - maybe at a Thousand Trails park!
Looking at the map, I believe we were in 227 or 228 on the North Side. Pretty sure roads on both sides of the park were paved. Loved the north side - the indoor pool is amazing. Our rig is 40' plus the car and we would have fit anywhere. It's an awesome park - thanks for watching!
Thanks for watching. I can say I have absolutely no idea about the cost of staying at this park - because with any Thousand Trails membership (even just the camping pass) there is no nightly charge. If you stayed for three nights, that would have nearly paid for an annual camping pass to all northwestern TT parks I would imagine. To find out for sure, check the description of the video for more details.
@@pamstrait4432 I'm sorry that Seaside didn't live up to your expectations. As you can see in the video, we had a beautiful stay there, and it's definitely on our radar to come back to again. We do appreciate you watching and happy camping in the future.

I certainly understand the anxieties, and I'm glad the video helped. Enjoy the new RV, and thanks for coming along with us!

What site were you in? Sites to reccomend? 32 foot fifthwheel and we have a medium sized dog. Were all the roads paved? We have ebikes.

You can get into any spot really, I was concerned that I would have problems, we stayed in the seasonal side so we was close to pool
Little over cost. Stayed there three days. Nice staff. Kinda crowded. Had a guy park next to us that constantly smoked pot. I hate that. Kinda spendy.
