Watching you folder videos has been very informative! They have shown me or anyone else just how much time and effort is involved in the making! Also the preciseness is critical! I think anyone that might want a custom folder needs/should watch your vids! Most people have no idea how much work goes into making a folder! Keep up the great work Tony! 🤔😱👍

I enjoy your videos greatly. Yep! just another day in the shop, just when ya think you got a good day going on making knives, something will always pop up. Interesting fact on your past employment, I never would have thought that about you, you seem so humble. keep up the great work.

making sure you have spares for critical tools is a huge advantage. Generally when you use the last but one buy another
and if its really critical have two spares.
Those controllers show why having the best of some things matters.
I love how solid looking your folders are. No skimpy looking metal there ...awesome

That's wild your dad built that oven and you've kept it going all this time - how cool! I'm thinking about building one this year.
And I feel your pain, sometimes you run towards your project and a problem you can't ignore inserts itself.

Yeah he built the body for me and I built the control system. I have several old tools that he built back then that I still use. 🙂

Thanks for sharing Tony ! I really appreciate the tip on using the masonary drill to make a bevel for the milling bit when counter boring ( without a counter bore ) … when making scale release autos I have had to do this and always just locked the piece down and used a pin or drill to line up ,,, I never thought about using a masonry bit … Sorry about your troubles with your heat treat oven … I think that it’s just incredible that your dad built the oven for you years ago .., that is awesome ! … Now I know why your videos are such quality videos ,,, you were in the film industry! Wow ! Who knew ? ! I really appreciate your answer to those that ask about why you haven’t been on Forged in Fire 🔥… I like to watch it every now and then but would have no interest in being on the show …. I am amazed at how some of those guys work so fast ,,, but that is what it looks like to me … a RACE ! … and if you’re not fast enough … well ,, you ain’t getting paid lol 😂… Don’t get me wrong .. I like to watch it sometimes .. Anyways …, thanks again for this video … I learned something and I really appreciate your openness to showing the troubles that happen … just another day in the shop ! Have a blessed day ! John Barnwell

Liking your vlog format and vids in general Tony. I am starting to get into folders and your info is really helpful. I too have no desire to be on forged in fire. I get a lot of people asking. My personal goal was to get my JS which I have done now and is much more rewarding..on a personal level at least, than being on a tv show. Keep up with the good info in your vids. Its appreciated.

Thanks man. Yeah that show topic is a fun one 😂. I too made it a goal to get my JS and I’m glad I did. I don’t know if I’ll ever go for MS. But those are real milestones in education and growth unlike being on a reality tv on the topic. 🙂
