World Championship Blacksmiths Craig Trnka, CJF - Concave Caulk & Wedge hind

World Championship Blacksmiths 2017 season is in full swing. Virginia State Fair is the fourth stop for the WCB crew. The judge for the Virginia contest is Brian Nelson, CJF. In this video Craig makes the concave caulk & wedge hind shoe. Brian submitted this shoe as specimen for the Liberty live shoeing class. This shoe is made from 13" x 3/8" x 7/8" concave. It is punched for six E4 slims. The shoe measures 5" wide and 5 3/8" long and its quarter clipped and has a safe toe. The contest will be October 6-8, 2017.
