      That is exactly what the judge was doing. The Sheriff was on the phone with cops in Colorado arranging her getting picked up.

    When I got in trouble I decided to be super honest for once. I was tired and I was ready for something different. The judge was easier on me and I got help. I’m over one year sober now with a job, a car and a savings account ready to get my own place. If I can change anyone can. She has to want it.
    Edit: I’m now over two years sober! I got my own place!

      Hey i am so smiling reading your comment. I have been clean from tobbaco for three years and fentanly and meth for 7 months and counting. I am trying to help promote "rescue cambodia" and I love my Japanimation, My guitar, and I love my family. Ohhh I know that noone will else get is she was playing with her hair because she was treaking. I live in Vancouver and I used in the downtown eastside of vancouver. Cops will catch you with half balls sometimes and throw them away or even catch you with dope and let you keep it. ON the eastside they are just trying to keep this mass death from happening. We have like 30 people die in a day. I have been to detox so many times but its finally sticking. Sigh .......keep strong I am proud of you, its nice not to live in shame and fear anymore isnt it. Keep up the good work!

      For some reason, I’ve seen many criminals (even those in prison for decades) that study criminal justice. I think they think there is some magical thing, or some mysterious revelation they they will learn to avoid being arrested in the future. A person with felonies will have slim to no chance of getting a job as a lawyer or police officer. So that can’t be it.

      i noticed that sheriff and the DA both writing just after a message i think the judge sent them. Once they had her actual address, Im sure they contacted local LE to pick up and detain. Now she gets to await transport which takes much longer than arrest.

      How high was your bond, Mikey? (I know, I know... Which time?)
      I don't remember hearing all her alleged crimes, 7.5k isn't THAT high. Even if her mom only had to put 10% down, 75k is NOTHING compared to what some people get.
      If she's lying so easily to a Judge while 'in court', she's likely done some truly reprehensible things! I'm guessing a lot of ppl fall for her waterworks shtick but Judge Webster isn't one of them! Her lack of conscience is what's "f'n ridiculous!"

      Actually seem like she got a good judge that actually took the situation serious and hopefully will get her some much needed help as well besides just jail before it to late. Her mother sure have never bailed her out, or at least made some terms to go to rehab or request bond to be revoke otherwise? She clearly was on drugs dying the zoom call as she looked terrible overall and being very manipulative overall.

    I love Dale.       The Undersheriff was good keeping his poker face but I am surprised the judge stretched this out for whatever reason, most judges don't have time for this crap. She likely didn't know for sure that the Undersheriff was calling whatever law enforcement agency out in Colorado (some state police forces also have marshals) but she was smart enough to get an actual address on the record so she may have had an idea of what he might do with it even if it just happened to take place on Zoom.

    As an ExCon this video gave me anxiety, I just remembered standing in front of that judge and having to explain myself and not having any answer to give. I really hope that this young lady gets her life straightened out and gets on the right path. It’s a hard row to hoe but it’s possible. I got out in 2007 and straightened my life out and quit getting arrested. I am retired from the criminal lifestyle it’s just not worth the hassle.

    Her poor mom. I'm sure she loves her daughter to pieces and, like (almost) all moms, would do anything for her daughter. The $7,500 she ponied up is part of that, of course. I'd do absolutely anything for my child too. But parents are susceptible to snow jobs too. Her mom thought it was the right thing to do at the time to help her get straightened out. Sad all around. I hope the 8-bedroom-house guy takes care of her dog. For some reason, I find myself being more concerned about these people's pets than anything else. They are the very definition of "helpless innocent bystander."

    I def don't miss this crap. Never had a zoom call but been in front of a judge a few times in my day. Wouldn't wish this feeling in my worst enemy. Got arrested once when I was 22 and didn't see the light of day till I was 33. 11 years straight! Got out in 2012 did 8 yrs on special parole and never went back. Been out for over 10 yrs now with no issues

      @@jillianc6172 They definitely don't make it easy on you. It honestly depends on your parole officer. Most of the time I was on parole so long. I got shuffled around the office. Well. Most were okay and tried to help you stay out of jail, but you have a couple that are just itching to throw you back for the slightest infraction. But if you're doing the right thing for the most part, you won't have much to worry about. But thank you for the kind words and compliment

    That judge tried to cut her every break she could, only to have the girl mess it up again.
    That ending was epic, and exactly what should have happened, all feelings aside. I hope that girl gets some help.

Yeah she made the dumb mistake of lying but she did it bc she probably thought they’d send someone out to get her for the warrant. I get where she was coming from with that. If you’ve ever been an addict you’d understand but from what I read it doesn’t seem like you were so you’ll never know what it’s like. N I don’t want to hear about how “you know someone who’s gone through it” which makes you an expert by proxy somehow? If you have been an addict then you’re one cynical person.

      Everyone has to hit their rock bottom before getting back to the top. The judge was on this girls side right from the start, and the girl kept lying. She had no interest in helping herself, therefore it bacame the state's responsibility to do so.
      Do you really think that this girl was going to make things better? No, she was destined to be living under a brige.
      As for my experience, I won't tell you about my 10 years nursing in a court ordered acute drug rehab center, or my time in law enforcement.
      If they hadn't got her, what do you think her expected arc of recovery would be?

      Colin: agreed, I work in an MAT clinic so I know a lot about addicts, I wish everyone could just observe a day in our shoes so they could see the reality of it, it’s not as simple as “these poor people just need rehab and they’ll turn their lives around, they can’t help it!” Many times extreme structure is needed before anything will change

Defend her all you want, and yes I agree that addicts need help, but you can only go so far with that excuse. Lying to a judge is a crime. She wasn't going to jail for being an addict, she was going to jail for being a criminal. The judge tried everything she could to help this girl and the girl still lied to the judges face. Yes, I hope she gets rehab for her addiction, but she also still deserves the consequences of her actions and absolutely should be put in jail

      That's not true, I've waited hours for court to finish and the judge told me he immediately was going to let me be released, that the charges against me were planned to be dropped before I got there because they were outrageous. He took forever to let me go. They just get busy and have so much info going through their head.

      He’s just a nice guy who was trying to help someone down on their luck. He probably did not have a clue to the extent of this girl’s problems- with drugs and her legal issues.
      He was willing to help her, but not willing to lie for her. Perhaps he may have had an ulterior motive, but not everyone does.
      I hope he doesn’t face any negative consequences for this

      The actuality of the situation is this, she needs a place to stay and someone who will let her partake in her vices. He enjoys having a young, attractive woman around who will trade her body and company for stability. It's not a healthy or good relationship by any means, but saying that one is taking advantage of the other is completely ignoring the facts.

      Her life was over as soon as she was charged with drug possession and people like you don't give a fuck about what that really means in their life. You just want their money to get them a good deal. Those people are addicts and not a menace to society but we often make them hardened criminals in the end who are anti-social and people you never want to come across as soon as they get out of jail.

      The judge also had the opportunity to ask about all her contacts, names and addresses, she has in different states. It´s like she told about all her escape routes without even noticing. The judge planned four steps ahead in this chess game, while the defendants moves were completely predictable.

The worst part is, the judge repeatedly tells her she cost her own mother $7500, and not one single time does she even acknowledge this!! She literally could not care less that she has probably dumped her mother in a world of debt, with no way out. What a disgusting piece of work.

On the paper you sighn it states if the person runs and never returns to court then yes the bailer is reliable. I mean the judge can try doing it but once the mom puts a appeal in she wont be responsible. Judge says this to see if theres a reaction from her and if she looks like she cares. She dont care cause she read the paper work and knows the judge cant do that
