When the French colonized the country they put a statue of a military leader on a horse. during independence instead of destroying the statue, Algeria covered it with this monument. The old statue is locked inside, that's why it has this shape

Algeria is a very beautiful country as vast as a sun that never leaves it.....the best session I saw was the elderly lady who came to buy a book, it's wonderful to see people who still read it gives hope especially in this world which continues to transform human beings into robots

i hope u enjoying ur stay in Algeria , i would advice to visit Tipaza which is 1hour away from the capital ,, Bejaia and Costantine which are in the east of Algeria and Oran which is the west of Algeria. abd also Ghardaya which is the door to Sahara desert
Algerians like coffee in general. Tea in algeria is in reality sugar with a hint of tea.
