- Today, it's all about German SNACKS! We bought all the snacks from World Market and let me tell there was no shortage on sweets, specially candy. We also couldn't forget their delicious salty/savory snacks like brined sausages, pickles and of course seafood. What are some of your favorite German snacks?

Greetings from Germany! You have to heat the red cabbage and the Weißwurst. The Weißwurst you have to eat with fresh Brezeln. The red cabbage we combine normaly with roasted beef or turkey and dumplings.

Sooo excited that you tried German snacks and I’m glad y’all liked it. Never heard of the sour Kitties but the rest was real authentic German food. As for the cabbage, we usually cook it and it eat hot with some kind of meat and potato dumplings, that’s why it’s softer than your cabbage. The Weißwurst is also something we heat up and then we peel and eat it with sweet mustard. Looking forward to more German snack videos 😂
Oo thank you! We usually eat our pickled cabbage/sauerkraut cold from the fridge. Will definitely have to try it like you recommend ❤️
@@Milabucoit looks like the sour kittens come from London. They were founded there. I had to look them up because I love sour and watermelon candies. There’s a Colombian sour watermelon hard candy that’s sooo good too.

The Meica Würstchen… if you have a Lidl in your State, get some of the regular Brötchen and use it like a hot dog bun for the Würstchen plus Ketchup or mustard or whatever you like

Thats neat, I have mostly German heritage. It's really cool to see content with the whole family again. I miss the family vlogs but I'm sure you are busy making memories in person with the kiddos and living in the moment!! Your stuff always inspire me to spend more time with my kids doing creative things :)

Your children are so cute. I like that they are adventurous eaters and will try new things. Growing up and now as an adult I am a picky eater and won’t try anything if I don’t like the way something looks or smells.

If you have an ALDI near you, check out their chocolate candies. German chocolate is far superior to American chocolate. They have bundles of 5 small candy bars. My favorite is milk filled. They have tubs of amazing chocolate covered caramels and peanut butter filled chocolates.
For savory, you can sometimes find dill pickle potato chips (so addictive), and peanut butter coated puff curls (like puffy cheetos, but with peanut butter). I don’t care for them, but I was told they are a common snack. My husband’s parents immigrated in 1954.

That second one that was a sour straw with white in the middle so many brands make the same thing....airheads, sour punch bites, warheads and they are all exactly the same

I‘m German and don’t know any of these except for the Gummibärchen, Milka and Bahlsen! Yes, Haribo (Hans Riegel Bonn) is German but the most of these candies aren’t available here. Candy Kitten? Never heard of that. 🤣 This is so odd! Weißwürste are a Bavarian thing. Not German. 😉

Ich bin kein Bayer, und kenne alles davon. Steht in jedem Supermarkt. Das Candy Kitten Katjes entspricht, sieht man doch sofort, denen gehört die Firma zur Hälfte. Weißwürste gibt es selbst in jedem Discounter zu kaufen. Sicher, dass du deutsch bist?😉

Red cabbage is supposed to be creamy, not Al Dente. A good Sauerkraut also btw.
The german sweets are not that super sweet like foreign sweets. The English or American sweets are more sugary..
