I like how you made curves and sewed on that line. I have just been doing straight stitching using my pressure foot as my guide. This is going to be my new method for gaining better skills with my sewing machine. Great tip thanks

Your bobbin winding and threading video made it easy to get me started and your suggestion of practicing by following drawn lines on fabric gave me a good feel for how slow I needed to go on my first project. Some have more features than others, if you look on site like amazon it will list the different features, but essentially there are from the same line

Thank you so much for your sewing tutorials, I appreciate them so much as a beginner. I have one question. I have the same Singer machine and I am trying to hem up a silky stretchy pyjama sleeves and the machine is eating the fabric into the feed dogs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks, mmm maybe you can try to release some pressure from the presser foot (dial on top of the machine) I have seen people using tissue paper underneath the fabric as they sew, that might help
