Would this be OK for a photo booth light.?
Hey bro, yes 100%! This item comes with a diffuser built in so you get an even amount of light to your subjects.
Also you can adjust the color temp on the whites which is VERY USEFUL for some situations.
I've also seen some using a ring light but it's completely up to what you prefer. :)

You have 2 options to power it.
1. Unlimited power: Have it plugged on a DC port. :)
2. You can also use 2x large NP-F970 to power it. A single 6600mAh battery with light at 10%, should last you about 2 hours. Same thing at 100% will last for less than 1 hour.

@@ervinavena oh, one more thing. I've heard a lot of bad things about the app, do the physical controls on the light adjust RGB hue as well? this is my main reason for purchasing it as I want to use it alongside a pocket light for creative photography
100% you can use the physical controls to dial in all of the settings. Go and buy them bro! Its been a year and it never really let me down. :)
