i love this style of videos since I'm more of a visual learner. It is also not boring because the drawings are bright and cute. Thank you for this! It made studying histopathology a little more fun.
The aim of fixative in histopatthology is to keep the tissue as much as is possible in its natural state without degradation by either autolysis which is the destruction of tissue by its own enzymes or putrefaction the destruction of tissue by bacteria.
Very good video... but you missed a part in fixation.... i.e we use a different fixative for bones.... like for bone marrow.... we use nitric acid for decalcifaction..... I know part of cytology.... it is necessary..... bt your video is awesome update more... I learned a lot
Fixative is to prevent tissue from autolysis and also present it from putrefaction which means preventing it from its enzyme and environmental bacteria and microorganisms

This was great! I just bought a microscope for my 9 year old son and was looking for information on how to permanently mount slides. This video is perfect. I bought him some dissection kits(frog, earthworm) and was hoping to makes a tissue library from samples taken from the specimens. Very informative video. Thank you.
Fixative is used to fix and harden the tissue just because of if the tissue is left soft we can't cut 3to5 micron in microtome . And sir DPX is dibutylipthalate polystyrene xylene
Fixative = preserve the cells and tissues consistence Hardness of soft tissue Conversation of semisolid consistency to irriversible semisolid consistency
Nice video but mounting is not the tissue processing method..fixation is under tissue procrssing method bcz we use formalin jar in automated tissue processing ..not moutning media..thanks👍
Thankyou for this video🌷 ..the your representation is amazing

Why is tissue processing an important aspect or necessary aspect in histopathology
If we skip the step of infiltration , then what effect it has on tissue and how will we correct it.
How you make

Good sir
To prevent autolysis, putrefaction and also to protect in a live state
Fixative = preserve the cells and tissues consistence
Hardness of soft tissue
Conversation of semisolid consistency to irriversible semisolid consistency
In tissue processing, the term clearing indicates removal of:
A. Alcohol from the tissue.
B. Wax .... C. Water.....
D. Stains from the tissue
Removel of dehydrating agent coz it is inmiccible with paraffin wax so....
Removal of Alcohol

Dear you are right but this video not only tissue processing. thats why i have to involve all part from starting to end.

Fixative is a chemical which is used to preserve nature state of tissue
Fixative-the chemical which is used to preserved tissue
Kya esko hindi bana skte h
Role of fixative is to prevent autolysis and putrefaction.
To preserve in its original condition without any degradation 😁
