Hi Jacob! Just found your page, I'm starting at SGU SoM in August of this year and my sister is a grad from 2019. I had a question- do you think in the first 2 years at SGU, they prepare you well for Step 1, like US Medical Schools do? I know US Med Schools push you towards doing Step 1 questions with blocks from the beginning, does SGU emphasize that as well with their curriculum?
Hi, thanks for the comment! I think SGU prepares you well. Term 5 is basically a step review course. They also give you several question banks during T5. I've heard that SGU writes their exams with step style questions starting from T1 to help prepare.
