Me and you have very similar ways of washing. I purchased a gallon of tough as shell myself. Blindly bought it, barely watched reviews, didn’t test it out, nothing. I test out damn near every product on the market. This is definitely in my top 3 for spray coatings/ detail sprays. I live in Vegas so we’re known hot hot weather and sunlight. I’ve applied this on my clients cars, and both of my personal vehicles and everyone including myself have been blown away with the results. I’d love to try the new soap out
😮 I've been doing something similar to these touchless washes lately but instead of directly drying with blower&towel I pull into the garage and do a rinseless wash (spray everything, then contact wash with mitts) then the same residue of the rinseless wash works as drying aid for when using the drying towel, but I may start using a few sprays of Tough As Shell while drying as you showed in the video if it doesn't ruin the drying towels. A tip I also read recently was to dry vertical surfaces first (doors, fenders, bumpers, etc) as those can dry faster and cause water spots, and then go to horizontal like roof and hood
That's interesting, I usually dry all the top surfaces first as the sun is beating down that's what naturally dries first, so I leave the sides for after a bulk dry across roof, hood, trunk n windshield then side windows, doors, then grille n rear bumper. I wash a lot of cars in full sun, it's a scramble for sure.
@@kirkwilson5900 Yeah in my scenario was washing inside the garage in the shade but what you're saying definitely makes more sense depending on how strong the sun is. Sometimes I even prefer washing on the dusk with a headlamp to avoid washing under the sun but I do my own cars, that obviously is not doable for someone with a business such as a mobile detailer.
Question, Do I use tough as shell on each wash , So I wash the car dried it then went over the hole car with tough as shell with a microfiber cloths, but now to maintain it do i use tough as shell like you did here or just the first washed. and thanks I love your products
STOP!, most driveway detailers do NOT have deionized water? So you just lost some of your audience? Yvan LaCroix says to add rinseless wash to your bucket of suds, to soften it, apparently to avoid water spotting? For those of you who do not have deionized water, they expertise recommend wash your car early in the morning or later in the evening, so sun is not as strong...
It’s hard to tell if you’re actually asking questions or trying to make a point with the question marks, but your soap will deal with whatever hardness your water has. That’s why soft water suds so much more, there’s a lot less mineral content for the soap to have to work on. Like the video pointed out, you don’t have to worry about the soap spotting, but it’ll streak if it dries.
Direct sunlight? Dude it’s cloudier then a glass of water from Flint
He blind af. 💀

I appreciate the blind support and super glad you’re loving it! Soap will be coming soonish…6 weeks or so hopefully.
You and I have a very different understanding of what “direct sunlight” is.

I like this idea with the timeless wash too
@@autodetailingpodcast what is a timeless wash? is that a typo or I'm missing something?
@victor4091 "touchless wash" I'm guessing was the intended words? Autocorrect spell ?
I have 2 of those Ryobi blowers. They aren't good lol.
Jimbo, will your car wash shampoo be able to be used for a Decon wash? Or should the Magic Cleaner be used as a followup?
It will still need pure magic.
Is tough as shell safe to use on brake rotors since some will get on it as you spray the wheel?
Yes 100% safe.
Do you have pure magic mixed in with the soap as well? I remember you saying you like to boost your soaps.
I didn’t on this one. But I do like doing that

I use it almost every wash personally. Either as I dry or as a quick detailer. Thanks for the support!
Beautiful car to have unprotected
It was a new used car - coming in for a coating for the new owner.
Nice!👌
4th! But 1st to comment! Another great video!
Jimbo: Okay so we gotta use a blower to get a bulk of this water off the surface so let’s do that now….
Blow Dryer: wwwooooEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
The blower def screams at me the whole time.
Those yellow spots are bee 🐝 poop 💩. I dare you to taste one 🍯 😅
I’ll take your word on it. Haha

Definitely not in direct sunlight…..no shadows. Definitely not in Florida heat…you are wearing a hoodie.
In Florida in the sunlight….that car would be steaming and dry in a few minutes ….
That “hair dryer” is hilarious…. Can’t believe you showed that POS.
Can’t wait for you to try it in Florida for us.

Ya, but it doesn’t prevent water spots. I’ve tried that method.
