Man, that face Tron makes at the beginning is just...CHILLING. Mainly cos up til now, his eyes aren't usually that visible. Kinda like with Ling from FMA. When you see their eyes, you *know* OOC is in play!
Y'see, this is truly scary. Brainwashed and crazy as Rinzler is one thing, but this? This is a voluntary and conscious decision on his part. Contrast this with what a sweet natured dork he was in the 82 film (and KH2) and you see just how deeply screwed up he is. On a meta level, it also makes me wonder about his User; we saw the best and worst parts of Flynn with the Clu Programs, but seeing a dark sided Tron makes me wonder what Alan could be hiding if you well and truly pissed him off.
Exactly. As mild an meek as Alan Bradley appears? He's probably the most *terrifying* guy in the franchise. His very first scene was jamming Dillinger and Master Control into a "heads I win, tails you lose." His "legends" canon (Tron 2.0) had him figuring out how to crash a server from the inside just by looking at schematics. Legacy? First scene there was him about to deck a reporter for getting too close to child!Sam. And if you get him into cyberspace? We're talking User powers AND the most terrifying warrior the place ever saw reveres him as a personal deity. I have the feeling that if Alan made up his mind that someone needed to die, they'd not only be dead, but no body found, and Alan wouldn't lose any sleep over it.
He was coded as a badass, sure. When the discs were flying, he certainly aimed to de-rez, and had quite the body...er, shell count. Out of battle? Sweet-natured dork. (That seems to be a Boxleitner specialty - Sheridan and Stetson also had that "badass to dork in 5 seconds or less" thing). Come Uprising, though, Tron's locked into anger and "fight mode," with all of the sweet parts tortured and burned out. Again, kinda makes me wonder about his User, who was abandoned and left to soldier on alone...just on a different front.
@@cybersearcher1041 Exactly. Hell, the Tron 2.0: Ghost in the Machine comic even floated that as a possibility in a nightmare sequence. Even in the actual game, he trapped the three bad guys in a hard drive and was in NO hurry to free them from a fate worse than death. When it comes down to it, Flynn was pretty much a pacifist. Alan probably isn't, and if it came to it? He'd take out the threat and sleep like a baby afterward.
I love this 2 parter so much!!! Dyson’s introduction tells you so much about the character with only one spoken word, and then they continue to set up just how menacing he is.
Again, kinda makes me wonder about what's hiding under Alan's quiet demeanor. Alan Bradley seems all polite and harmless, but Programs in this universe reflect the best and worst of the human who coded them.
Another terrifying thought. Hell haveth no fury like a woman scorned? Well, we never do learn what became of Yori. She wasn't much for combat, but she was an engineer, saboteur, and diplomat who handled everything BUT the combat (which was her husband's department). The downside is that Clu wouldn't underestimate her, due to the history between their Users.
Beck: I dont care what you do to me im not letting you kill for revenge. Tron: (sticks a shock grenade on beck) Beck: (falls on the ground knocked out) Ya beck didnt care
As a Loud House viewer, I've taken to reimagining this scene with Lincoln Loud in Beck's place, and Bobby Santiago in Tron's. An interesting crossover, wouldn't you say?
It’s his anger talking, he’s developed such a hatred of Dyson for his part in his injuries and his betrayal that he’s willing to get revenge by derezzing him and betraying Beck to do it
Damn it. Ya can't go and deliver badass one liners if no one can hear 'em.
What're you talking about? The cameraman was there the whole time
The audience heard and that’s enough
When i saw this part as kid it blew my mind, man i miss this show
We all do
De echo lo están volviendo a poner en un canal de Tv no se cómo se llama solo se que lo están volviendo a poner

Flynn didn't actually create Tron, Alan did. Flynn created Clu and Clu 2.0.

Your answer to that question is that they never find the bodies.

This show needs to come back, hell I'll settle for a comic book.
Same here man, same here.

Years later, this scene still lives in my head rent free
most badass line in the entire series!
Black Diamond Ltd there are some who would argue
tell me more please. I just recall this one by now, but I would like to hear the others
okay man, you won. That is the most badass line in the entire series
Black Diamond Ltd I'm not saying "I didn't ask your permission" wasn't a badass line. Especially the way Boxleitner says it.
but I understand what you're saying bro. Anyway, Bruce Boxleitner has such an amazing voice, he could read a math book and make it sound badass
You know how they say "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned"?
Well... a woman scorned hath no fury like Tron when he's enraged!

Such a great show! So full of potential and deep characters
I hope tron 3 will be just as good as this show
I hope there will BE a TRON 3...
There was supposed to be a third Tron movie, but it seems Disney changed their mind. Not sure why
Aleenah Gaudet - Star Wars was about to be acquired by Disney right when this show ended.
Disney earned less than they wanted. So it’s been dropped.
Disney is too invested in marvel & star wars they are never gonna make another one unless it's a reboot
I see Trons alter ego....Rinzler.....but without the whole quiet with disoriented soud
I mean damn that was BADASS
I didn’t ask for your permission
Beck: I dont care what you do to me im not letting you kill for revenge.
Tron: (sticks a shock grenade on beck)
Beck: (falls on the ground knocked out)
Ya beck didnt care
You can’t care when your out cold.
TRON LIVES!!!
So dramatic
SO GREAT!!! :)
Great Video!!!!!!
........damn
0:42 Similar to the 2010 film
Tron’s suit design, or him splitting the disc?
@ splitting the disc
Except here, he actually split the disc in half. Whereas in Legacy, he split the disc into two separate discs.
@ for fighting
Tron Lives
Things get heated, I know, I know...
I like the kind of Terry/Bruce dynamic these two have except that Bruce was truly out of comission whioe Tron was more like super capped
Tron, no!
I think it’s a great video for everyone

I saw this show and tron did not act like himself in this scene😑😔.

@@Materminds187 But it was Clu who gave him those scars, not Dyson.
Akachukwu Obiako He still played a part in it and ended up torturing him, damaging him further.
@@Materminds187 Oh yeah I almost forgot about that😓.
