    So, my employer doesn’t do sick time or vacation they do PTO. Is this going to make them change that or increase the amount of PTO provided by the additional 1/30hrs? Or do they just skirt this because “PTO”?

      Hey Jay! Thanks for the comment! As long as the PTO plan exceeds what the sick leave law requires (including carryover provisions!) then they don't need to do anything else. Otherwise, they will need to plus it up or restate.

    So basic employee rights (that most other developped countries have been doing for the last 40 years or more) finally in 2025? Imagine such a thing I

      If by "basic employee rights" you mean "illegitimate government intrusion", then maybe. Please stop promoting cancer.
