Yes it is. It is talking about how we become numb to God and we become to comfortable with the state we are in now. It is saying that he feels far away from God. Maybe you are right. It is not about religion. It is about a relationship that we can have with Jesus Christ. It is about the gift of salvation that Christ offers to each of us.

God wanted us to live in a peaceful world to begin with. But we choose to rebel against God. God cannot be near sin. He has to give those who choose not to believe or maybe they believe there is a God, but choose not to follow Him, He has to give them what they deserve for God is a just God.

Well I accept that, as I am a christian with friends who either have differant religion or none at all. But the only reason were freinds is because we respect each others point of view. For instance your comment about "talking crap" that wasnt neccasary , that line was insulting a religion, which I avoid as I like my freinds. Thank you for sharing good enough reasons to why you dont like the band, but dont insult a religion just because you dont believe in it. .... any bands you like? :D

I believe God exists. He has given so many signs already. Haven't you ever heard stories of people living through something like an illness or car crash, yet there was no way how that could be? Or how some people get better even though that seemed impossible? I think you are pretty smart. You're just learning what I would consider the wrong thing, not to be rude or anything like that. This is just my opinion though.
