Since completing the recent rage video, I have been able to edit up a bunch of older recordings and this is one that really needs to get out sooner rather than later, considering two of these movies are out. Obviously this is very old content, and I am still working on a bunch of other stuff like EFAP: Movies for DOOM and Lord of the Rings as well as a few other minis with the intention to record more. I don't know how you get Doom wrong as a movie filmmakers must be hacks today. Just watch Aliens for inspiration they have great looking space station design or maybe Event Horizon but as if it's designed by Wetland Yutanti if they merged with Apple lol white and Perspex until it turns into Claret Heaven. Have the visceral action feel of Aliens or The Raid films cranked up to 11 and foreboding of trying to survive in those films add in some Clive Barker imagery of Hell some Exorcist subliminal Demon imagery use some literal people in the walls scratching at survivors and have the Doom guy come in as reinforcement at the end to save the marines or scientists if they are any left and to Blitzkrieg the Demons in crowd pleasing fashion. I mean the live action Doom 2016 game trailer was great there is your selling point just with more creativity and better camera work. I will watch the new movie though as a garbage fire can produce some warmth lol.
I like TS3 is not as good as TS or TS2 but I still enjoy it. TS4 is not needed and should not have been made. Cars 2 was an awful film. This Sonic film is probably going to be awful even with the changes they’ve made.

As much as some hand-drawn 2d animation might have been nice and refreshing, it doesn't change that fact that Sonic just outright SHOULDN'T be included with live-action. Nothing about his universe indicates a connection to ours besides a couple of terrible 3d games, and Sonic X (admittedly not bad, but it was more or less a kids anime and those are almost never adapted to live-action well).

And outside the games do we have things like the 1996 Japanese Sonic OVA, the from 1993 to 2012 running American Archie Sonic Comics and the Show bible to the 1993 Tv Show referent to as Sonic SatAm having there setting be set in the far far future of our real world earth. And than would there be the cases of the slightly more cartoony looking humans as seen in the on Sonic Jam contained 1996 short animation Man of the year as well throughout all of Sonic Unleashed and Sonic Chronicles And as you mentioned is there also always Sonic X. Even most of the older 2d games make no absolut answers given that there are multibel levels with realistic Cities in the background (from Sonic 1's star light zone all the way to Advance 3 Route 99 which has Manhattan's skyline in the background) and ever since the start there was at least 1 human in form of Doctor Eggman. Outside of spezial stages were insane wacky places in sonic so rare that outside of Heroes and Advance 2 you will have a hard time finding something before Sonic Colors throw all realism out of the window and killed the Idea of having an interesting logically and Character driven plot in the games pushing us further back in Sonic Story telling and in-universe Logic than what we already had in 1994's Sonic 3.
You know those really creepy 'realistic' depictions of Homer Simpson and Mario? The ones that look like horrifying abominations against creation itself? Not sure why I brought those up. Anyway, Sonic trailer looks great!
I didn't hate Toy Story 4 but it just like why make another one the 3rd one ended perfectly. Also wasn't a fan of how most of the original characters was sidelined for most of the movie.

Kind of ironic how the two movies they thought were going to be bad ended up turning out good and the one they thought would be good ended up being bad.
The second incredibles film is just meh. they nailed the feeling of the world and the characters. the story is expectedly camp but where this movie falls short in comparison to its predecessor is the main character. Helen is not nearly as interesting as Bob. Bob was relatable as he was a man in a midlife crisis trying to relive his glory days, by getting away from his family but had to realize he left that life behind and needs to move forward. Hence he can only defeat the Omnidroid with help from friends and family. But in the second movie, Helen has no such conflict. No arc or conflict to overcome besides the villain. Thus the conflict rings a bit hollow. The villain and their motivations are debatable but what really detracts from the movie is the obvious and done to death philosophical implications of heroes. The usual. Collateral damage, infantilization, creating the villains they fight, yadda yadda yadda. That makes the film feel really heavy in all the wrong ways. This movie is like a really bad cake. Doesn't taste good and lies heavy in your stomach and somehow you still aren't full.
They went with the empowered woman away from home, and motherhood is the hardest job shit. Also considering the fact Bob already had 2 fucking children I think he'd know how the parenting gig works. Instead of making her happy go lucky throughout all of her chasing the Villains scenes, instead they should've made her bored, showing that SHE moved on from the heroics.
I’d also like to point out, despite Helen being the one going out and doing hero stuff, I was WAY more invested in Bob doing the things at home. Incredibles made watching Super Heroes deal with their old lives and moving on interesting. Incredibles 2 made the slice of life and dealing with kids more interesting. How ironic, a story about super heroes, where the super heroing is boring in comparison to the mundane.
Now I understand why MauLer loves horror so much: he's incredibly easy to freak out, apparently. I thought that trailer was incredibly bland and boring
Chess hasn't been updated in almost 200 years and it's obvious the devs have abandoned it. The greedy creators took your money and laughed all the way to the bank. I remember back in 705 AD when chess was fun. Then they started adding stupid features no one wanted like "Castling" and "En Passant" instead of listening to player feedback and fixing game-breaking bugs. I've been complaining for YEARS about the collision-detection glitch with the horsey. The "clipping-thru-pieces" bug has been abused to death and the lazy devs refuse to fix it. Don't support this awful behaviour and boycott this company.

There's something in Toy Story 4 that bothered me a lot: the fact that someone should definitely have been able to see a toy alive. It's an element that was always present, but in all of the previous 3 movies they took great care to AT LEAST minimize the risks. In this one they're not even trying to hide. There are several moments when I was like: "Oh c'mon! SOMEBODY SAW WOODY RUNNING AND WIGGLING HIS ARMS! he's in the middle of dozens of people for fucks sake!"

I believe it’s in Pixar’s contract with Disney that for every 2 original movies they do a sequel. That is anecdotal and I couldn’t find where I read it to save my life, but it’s been in my head for years.
