If you need shading for white figures I always add a touch of sky blue to the grey I'm using. When we look at white outside there is usually a little bit of blue in the shading that reflects from the sky. I found using straight grey almost makes the figure look yellow, just because our eyes are used to seeing the blue under shadow in real life.
I love the yellow and blue that you used, it really matches the animation much better. Good job! Maddy is also wearing heels keep that in mind with the scale :D.
I love all of these cell shaded figures you’ve been doing recently, would you ever consider painting a figure from a comic or cartoon as if it was a live action figure?
I have this figure, and I like it. I added the panel lines, but I did it with black and it doesn’t look good. I think I’m going to redo it with a brown.
There is a small piece between the mask and hair on the ponytail head that I'd supposed to be her forehead. It's not painted on the base figure though.
The pony tail after fixing makes Jean's poses look more dynamic.
Fully agree that the lines added to the two legs don’t have to be symmetrical. The final result looks pretty awesome. Well done !
Finally, a figure that does justice to Jean Grey's iconic look! 🔥👌

I love Ken’s vidoes, he always makes figure look more accurate as they do in the movies, comics or shows

Love your videos Ken! Was wondering if we could ever get a collection tour at some point?
The skin tone adjusment did so much to help this figure
Looks really good
This makes me want you even more to *Upgrade UNCANNY JEAN GREY DARK PHOENIX (new)* 🙏😭
Nice work!

I would love to see you do DC or GI Joe too
Great job!

Valeu vídeo 😁😀👍✌
Can paints like folkflirt work for figures
The look of the original Jean Grey is too basic. Luckily, Jean has Ken to help her enhance her look, especially the hair.
You didn't list the type of pens you use in the link
Are you going to do the live action Carnage when we get it? I'd like to see that
Jean has a very slight wedge boot, the Goblin Queen is wearing high heels, that's why she's taller
I almost want you to try again. Not because you did terrible. You actually did amazing. I’m just curious if the comment was correct.
Madelyne is taller because she’s wearing high heels
The original Jean Grey is not attractive and the legs are too plain. After cel-shading and adding the lines, the legs look more decent and better.
