To answer a couple of your questions, the retro card lines are not based on the 90’s animated series’… mostly. 9 times out of 10, they are just based on the original Toybiz action figure lines. A couple of the retro card figures are based on the cartoons, but those ones are very blatantly based on the shows. The VHS box figures, on the other hand, are always based on the cartoons. Also, Cyclops has a cut in his forearm because this body was made with the forearm in 2 parts to avoid sloppy paint with glove lines. Great for characters who have gloves that go up that high, like Vulcan, not so great for characters who don’t, like Cyclops here
The VHS Spider-man figures are based on the animated series. The Retro Carded Spider-man figures are inspired by the animated series but more comic accurate. Both would be great for Cel Shading and if you do go this route I would love to see it as your Cel Shaded 97' figures are perfect 🔥🔥🔥 Keep up the good work 🔥👍
@@timvanboening9432 I have the Cable from the Sasquatch wave. I thought about getting this one, but he’s kind of hard to get, and I prefer the other costume. I saw the new one at my local comic shop, but he was marked up to $40.
I have the VHS figure, and I almost sold it to get this one, but I just don’t like the neutral head on this one. It was a deal breaker for me. I can also 3D print an Optic Blast if I want to.
The Spider-Man retro card figures are not that accurate to the animated series, the Hobgoblin and a Spidey with a head that's 100% accurate from his show are the only ones that are part from the animated series, the other figures are comic versions. Still tho, there are more versions from TAS like Doc Ock,Aunt May,Mary Jane with the Green Goblin,Peter Parker with the Spider Slayer, Daredevil and Hydro-Man and a Morbius with a Doctor Strange that comes in the VHS packaging
Not a fan personally. It ruins the figure. Very few cel shaded figures actually look the way they’re supposed to. These just look like you’ve drawn on them, quite honestly.
The figure looks much cooler after it’s Cel-shaded. The fixing with Cel-shading is awesome as always! Great job!
Hasbro should hire this guy they definitely could use his help
When seeing the comparison of the before and after fixing figures, I know how much and how well Ken has done. Keep up your good work!
Seeing the cel-shading figures you have done, I think Ken has achieved his goal and has done more than a pretty decent job.

Ah! That makes total sense. I hope they do more with the Spider-Man VHS line. The 90s Spider-man cartoon deserves more love!!
@@KenIMakeIt yes more Spider-Man vhs 2 packs, Ironman/warmachine, punisher/Blade, Nick fury/Captain america.
Although the heads are not big, quite a number of painting work has been done. The effects are amazing.

Cyclops is my all time favorite superhero character. You did a great job. I love it.
Great work on this wave! 🙌🏻
Next request- Think it goes without saying, Deadpool needs to be done at some point!! 😃💀
That would be sick!!
Great job! I’d love to see you tackle the super7 Thundercats line with cell shading.
That's perfect man! I love them all! Awesome job! I wish have mines like that!! Really awesome
Great job man
Ken you cel shade the age of apocalypse line?
Million times before. What's the main brush you use? Thanks, really appreciate the help and love your work.
If only you could make motion capture videos with these remarkable figures. Now that would be fun.
I painted the shorts on the upper legs like the 97 wolverine has, it helps create a longer waist
One figure I would recommend to do is Mojo, the deluxe mojo can be bought cheap, might be fun to paint
You should try to get the Zabu wave Cable to cell shade like the show. He wears that costume in the later episodes.
It’s a damn good figure, also.

Honestly, i do hope you do the vhs jubilee figure and fix her. If not, completely understand
I have been looking for her! But I haven’t found one that’s reasonably priced 😫
I did jubilee if u check my shorts but it's not as clean as ken does it
I have a question, when the marvel legends venom 2 carnage releases witch is June 25th are you going to paint it?
These look like mini Mondo figs.

You should do the animated Spider-Man next
True getting the New deadpool legacy marvel legends or the New v2 carnage
Why not just get the retro beast? is basically the 97 design already
I haven’t been able to find him 🙁 Hoping they include him for the season 2 wave
I like it
Please do my Jean Grey too😢
She's literally in the thumbnail...

TRANSFORM THE MARVEL LEGENDS CLASSIC 90S ANIMATED SERIES SPIDERMAN TO BE CELL SHADED!!!
You make it look like cell shading it's easy to do. Mcfarlane toys try it with the Batman series but failed miserably. The should hire you
Not to be mean or anything, but I think the face is too pale. Hasbro nailed the skin tone, and I think you should’ve kept that same tone

Why not trying costumeizing sh figure arts
