Yeah, I find that the constant factor with Vixx Songs is that they seem to work the members' parts around the song regardless of the line distribution. But what I find really annoying (as I'm Hyuk biased) is when Ken, Leo and N are guaranteed huge parts in any song, of course since they're the main vocals and have quite dynamic voices. But it doesn't mean that Hongbin and Hyuk don't have dynamic voices too. I mean, there can be so many parts where Hyuk and Hongbin would have no trouble dealing with AND sounding perfect at the same time.

Keeping in mind that I love every member in this group, I'm not mad about how the lines were split, because VIXX has always been a vocal based group. Compared to their other songs, this is a VERY vocal focused song and with N being the lead vocal and Ken and Leo being the main vocals, they obviously would get the most lines. It's when a group only has like 4 members and yet the lines are being used up one one or two members or when a group is supposed to make songs with a 50/50 split between vocals and rapping and yet it's split unequally, that's messed up. Besides, Hyuk got way more lines than what he normally has and Hongbin has also had more lines in some of the previous songs. Hongbin was also the main character in the _entire_ Error mv, he was the love interest of the girl they were rescuing in On and On and at the end of Voodoo Doll. Since they are making a trilogy, I feel like they are keeping Hongbin in the dark for a reason and even in the last scene in Dynamite, he was like perfectly hidden behind all of the other members, contradictory to normal final poses where all the members are on screen. Perhaps he will have a strong roll in the final MV.

Calling Hakyeon annoying is over the top :( Hakyeon gets to sing while promoting. He's also not a lead vocal for nothing. Now he's sharing a quarter of his lines with Sanghyuk at least. Sanghyuk said that he is learning to compose stuffs now, so it is guaranteed that we will get more material from him in the future. As for Hongbin, surprisingly, this is one of the songs together with the closer that he has quite a significant amount of lines. Jelpi's slowly fixing the distribution. Not fast enough but we gotta take what we get. Also, Hyukbin might have a duet in the future, who knows. Sanghyuk is after all writing lyrics now. Oh and btw a funfact: Hakyeon was supposed to debut in a ballad group :)))) They discovered his dancing ability accidentally lol. As for Jaehwan and Taekwoon, the pitching of the song will always be the main factor behind their distribution. Oh and the overall feel of the song. Truly, we are blessed compared to other groups. Woah, I'm pretty new to VIXX so can't 100% distinguish their voices... but their line distribution sucks. I know Ken, and Leo are the main vocals, and I'm sure Hongbin is the visual and has amazing voice too. But I don't think anyone in VIXX lacks of anything :/ Can you please do one for Love me do 🙂
welcome to vixx world! ^^ Yeah, it's always been a problem with Hyuk or Hongbin or even N at the start never having lines... TT-TT They're working on it, and they're improving (like how Hyuk and N had a lot of lines in this) but Hongbin always seems to lose with the others :(
I feel sorry for my baby Hongbin, but he still got more lines than Monsta x' Minhyuk and Hyungwon in Stuck combined...

Yes, except he has even less screen time than actual lines in this song... One thing that always pissed me off is that Hongbin is supposed to be the 'visual' but they always ALWAYS PUT HIM IN THE BACK OF THE CHOREO. LIKE WHHY?!?!

Honestly the beginning where Ken starts, would have worked so well for Hongbin's voice, he should have gotten more lines!!! And if not that, at least more screen time!!!
Calling Hakyeon annoying is over the top :( Hakyeon gets to sing while promoting. He's also not a lead vocal for nothing. Now he's sharing a quarter of his lines with Sanghyuk at least. Sanghyuk said that he is learning to compose stuffs now, so it is guaranteed that we will get more material from him in the future. As for Hongbin, surprisingly, this is one of the songs together with the closer that he has quite a significant amount of lines. Jelpi's slowly fixing the distribution. Not fast enough but we gotta take what we get. Also, Hyukbin might have a duet in the future, who knows. Sanghyuk is after all writing lyrics now. Oh and btw a funfact: Hakyeon was supposed to debut in a ballad group

I know a lot of people complained bcs Hongbin got a little parts compare other members. The chorus is damn high and doesnt suit his voice, and his voice are low-tone. so just wait for their next comeback. I hope Hongbin will get more parts next time.

why is everyone complaining? Leo, N and Ken are the best singers in the group so ofc they got more lines. I am sad Hongbin got so little screentime though, but maybe he'll shine in the next comeback :) I think this song is really well thought out in how it suits the members at certain parts.

I understand the ppl complaining about Hongbin not getting a lot of lines but let's be real he's the weakest vocalist in the group, since Hyuk has improved so much, and this song it doesn't suit him a lot...I mean, even Ken (their main vocalist) says this song it's the hardest to sing among all VIXX's songs. So I don't want to imagine how hard it will be for HB if he would've get more lines
since you understand, that deep line in the beginning will suit hongbin voice so well. since it so low, i think hongbin can sing it without problem. and hongbin only got 6 sec screentime. its tragic. talked about fairness.
and please dont compared to hyuk, when we want hongbin to get more line doesnt mean we want hyuk to get lesser lines okay?
+Dear Me I didn't compared him to Hyuk...I said that Hyuk improved a lot and because of that Hongbin now is the weakest vocal in the group, I never said who should or shouldn't get more or less lines....the little screentime bothers me too but that has nothing to do with the singing, rly....I think that the first low part of the song would have fit him well too bc of his voice tone, but he wouldn't have been able to project it THAT well in terms of technique as Jaehwan can.
well, if you based the distribution like that, jaehwan should sing all the lines in next comeback. because his technique are better then others. whats the point of group then?
+Dear Me you're right on that...but I'm sure that if he could hit those low notes really really well they would have gave that line to him...VIXX is pretty flexible when it comes to giving their lines to other members like when Ken gave some of his lines to Hyuk in their debut era bc he thought he could handle it. And I know it's not fair for Hongbin but his voice is really unique and we can't expect it to fit in all their songs when you have such great vocals in one group.
i'm sure he can hit that note really well. skill can be gain by practice, if he work hard he will achieve it. The problem is did they give him a chance to sing it? no. thats what make me sad. while his confident in singing is increasing lately, the chance is decreasing..
and hyuk's zero line in superhero is because that time hyuk is going on puberty, his voice change and crack, unstable, so i kinda understand it. i'm glad he overcome that, now he has a deeper and unique tone in his voice.

My heart hurts for Beanie. Seriously, they could have at least shared Hyuk's lines with him. He deserves more attention. At least he gets more lines in the other two album songs
