Not sure how I feel about those headlights
Got the Silverado treatment to its now-retarded looking headlights
Seems like a rush job to me and unnecessary. Interior is a copy of the gmc Acadia. They didn’t fix the main complaints like hard seats and 6.2 engine problems. They should’ve had redesigned seats and came with the new v8 they are working on.
Honestly I love the seats in mine
Chances are the V8 will be gone next generation and just go twin turbo 6 and diesel. Everyone is moving to smaller engines
That screen is also massive kinda looks out of place. And yeah I’m with you on liking the looks of the Tahoe better.
Took the words out of my mouth. I see we are definitely down who can put the largest screen in a vehicle trend 🙄. I'd have to see how it flows with the rest of the interior in a shot before I make my final judgment.
@@01CorvetteZO6 the screen in the Tahoe refresh is more suitable. The GMC version is getting way out of hand. My kid already cracked out rear entertainment screen in my wife’s 21’ yukon. Price range for a new one is anywhere from $600-2k depending on where you buy them. Could you imagine cracking that front screen and having to replace it lol

@@JoshuaOvermancall me crazy but I feel like the older (‘99 through 2006) generation trucks had the most comfortable seats ever.
I’ve never felt like our 2017 Yukon Denali seats were very comfortable.
I actually love the break in the DRL. It puts emphasis on the shape and distinguishes the Yukon from other brands who have since adopted a similar design (Ford). The new GMC Acadia has the same break in the LED DRLs.

The Tahoe and suburban don't have that big screen. Wonder if it's just on the Denali ultimate and maybe the escalade.

I like the front end with the split day runners. Except for the color, I like this truck lot.
It’s really interesting that they’re going with the Colorado/canyon steering wheel because they look so much smaller than all the current truck/suv steering wheels.

Saw this truck yesterday with no camouflage on looks good but not that much different from older model
Not a big fan of the vertical screen, but everything else looks great! Overall from what I can see, I think I still prefer this new Yukon over the new Tahoe/Suburban.

Do we know if they are upleveling the payload so we can actually tow a sizeable boat with people in the vehicle and not go over capacity due to tongue weight + passengers? Anything less than up leveling it to 2,200 lbs at a minimum = needing to buy an HD pickup if tongue weight is 700lbs or more if you plan to put people and gear in your big SUV. The 20-24 Denali looks better than that. Those lights aren’t as mean and the grill looks weird now.
I agree. The Tahoe is better looking. I stopped buying Denali's after the change to the massive grille. I switched in 2020 to the Tahoe. I'll probably buy a new 2025 Tahoe before the 6.2 is phased out by D.C.

I must agree that I might like the Tahoe/Suburban over this new Yukon. I’m usually very partial to GMC because I always felt they looked better, especially the last generation. The 2015-2019 suburban front end might be the ugliest ever.
These new headlights are looking more like the Cadillac and I’m not a fan yet. We’ll see once it’s all revealed. I feel the current design is perfect.
As for the tablet on the dash….I hate it. It’s a bit ridiculous for the average consumer. I understand it for the Sierra EV but not for Yukon. I was surprised when they revealed the new Acadia with it and was worried it would carry over to the Yukon. Why can’t they follow the same design as the Sierra? That dash layout is PERFECT and it’s angled towards the driver.
I can get a great looking Suburban with all the same options as the Denali with a 3.0 Duramax.

Why are they adding a bigger screen? And making the back lights bigger? This will increase insurance costs, people can’t afford this stuff already..these companies are not doing anything to trim down these vehicles..my trucks a denali and it’s about perfect what it has since like 2015 they just kept adding more and more and more , it not needed especially the 100k price tag.
So is GM going away from the fog lights?

I love the Yukons but this is honestly mid. The screen looks like the ford expedition. They took away the aggressive look, and replaced it with a more modern style. I’m not saying it’s bad, I’d definitely buy it. But I love my 2022 Cadillac Escalade ESV-V.
So, we've seen the 2025 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban, guess GMC will be showing the 2025 GMC Yukon/Yukon XL soon, and then, guess Cadillac will show the ICE version (just saw pics of it) of an updated Escalade/Escalade ESV, hopefully, we get details of the next-gen GM V8 and these rumored plugin hybrid engines coming

I had to watch it twice, but I am confident he said there is a camera that films the driver. A surveillance system inside my car? No way will I ever agree to that.

Headlights look bad. I hate that little slit at the top similar to the Escalades
Unnecessarily high hood line. Close vehicle vision is none existent.
24 inch tires? Really? Overly harsh ride and wheels are easily damaged.
Huge dash touch screen? Aren't we supposed to be paying attention to our surroundings, not scrolling through screens and sub-menus to adjust the climate controls.
I'm looking elsewhere.
They need to fire the person that designed the headlights and what I find funny is that they do this every time, remember the 2000 to 06 yukon denali headlights were great, then the 2007 to 2014 ugly as hell and made it look like the yukon was smiling lol, then the 15 to 20 looked sleek and 21-24 was a great redesign too. Now this 2025 redesign reminds me of the chevy blazer which is just hideous and they need to go back fix it. Nobody likes small little headlights on the bottom of the headlight assembly with a huge C style led tube that has no functionality except as a turn/DRL.
God mine feels old now

Yes it does, I use to have a gmc Yukon xl 2017, was gonna get the nee body Yukon in 2022, but the chevy looked so much better! And the 2025 chevy body still looks better

Tahoe used to look better. Y’all crazy. I’m 2022 my parents wanted Tahoe or Yukon. Hated infotainment of Yukon so we got them Tahoe because infotainment laid out better and better flow. Now it’s flipped with the 2025 Yukon having best infotainment. Vertical allows more onscreen.

I knew they were going to screw up that steering wheel and make it look like crap, cheap looking and ugly. I will never buy one of these. I will buy the old generation Tahoe and Yukon because they are top notch beautiful inside and out!! Not this crap!!

@ElectricBlueIX It's feminine, I like a bold masculine steering wheel like I'm driving a truck not a car. I think the steering wheel should be bold looking and feeling in these big SUV'S, any of them. When you give them that small thin, feminine look and feel, it takes away the feeling that you are driving a truck. I like that feeling. I love the feeling of my 2010 Cadillac Escalade and that big steering wheel and the feel that I am driving a big luxurious SUV. It is just my preference but I will not buy one with one of the smaller steering wheel.
