You should watch more of Joltzdudes bl1 runs, for the underdome ur better off having it scaled to level 13 though, but i think it automatically scales in the remastered edition though
There's also the Hyperion Gift shop in the Claptrap DLC - it scales to your level and has around 12 red chests in there that respawn every restart - even if you hand in the quest! You do have to complete the DLC for it but it's well worth it for a continuous source of scaling loot!
you can run over the assassins in knox's dlc in order to kill them they give decent xp you just have to be careful not to destroy your car in the process.
That Last chest you mentioned is very easy to reach fast. There is an Elevator along the outside right wall of Scooters shop that go up to it to the area you reach it from about every 30 seconds, it only takes me an extra minute or so to reach it
I can't wait to get this tomorrow!!! I love watching you and K6 (mostly you, don't tell him that XD) and you have seriously hooked me! I used to play when Borderlands first came out, but I haven't played recently except when I had a PS4, but now I got an Xbox One and I can't wait to play this!
Love your channel! You’re easy to understand, get right too it, have fun, know the game, have the skills. I watched your Knoxx video if you get locked out of the armory. I CANT for the life of me get those grenade jumps.
Another thing is when you get to level 11 you can start the claptrap dlc and finish it and you can farm the gift shop which scales with you the whole game
I’ve noticed that too. I remember in the original even if you complete all side missions you’ll still be a few levels under when trying to kill sledge. Now I find myself killing him first try
You can go ahead and do all of the robolution dlc once you're done in the others, and get the skill point upgrade, leave around level 18-20, and have access to the buffed gift shop for on-level equips.

Thanks, Joltzbud. I'm back into Borderlands again, after 2 years of Elden Ring/the Dark Souls series, and am only really proficient in BL2/3. Only did one playthrough with Lilith years ago, (no dlc's) and wanna give all the other OG vault hunters a playthrough or 2. Time to catch up with your's, K6 and Mox's vids again! Lolol, fuck yeah. Great video, stay awesome.
At level ten you can goto the robolution dlc, and it’s pretty easy. Afterwards you get the loot room like you mentioned in an earlier video and you’re overleveled for everything else.
I'm going to add my two cents onto this video. Before I go do my Knoxx farming I will complete the power coupling quest so I can obtain "Blinding Nine Toes" for the bandits. Afterwards, I will do my normal Knoxx run (learned from watching enough of your playthroughs) and do all that jazz. I then go and complete the Zombie and Claptrap Robolution DLCs respectively so I can get the SDU's and be massively over leveled. I make sure to do the Claptrap Robolution one so I can have a farming spot already opened up for later. This will usually put me at level 17-18 and then I breeze through playthrough 1 doing minimum sidequests.
I forgot to mention Blinding Nine Toes gets completed for me midway through the Claptrap Robolution dlc when the bandit traps and clap traps attack Tartarus Station.
Thank you so much for this video! It works like a charm! I'm level 26 and was looking for ways to farm money and this vid was the perfect solution for fast cash farming!
The 1Life strats!!! I already knew about this strats, because I am watching guys on Twitch like Turricane, Captain FooFoo and Dr. Shemp. But it is good that you made the video about it. Godd job, Joltz.
So, I've done this and got to level 7 or something, and then went to the zombie dlc and managed to finish it and go on the robolution dlc and finish it too, ended around level 20-22, so must say it's pretty efficient.
Another good thing to know is once you get golden keys, you can farm the chest in fyrestone over and over until you get legendary weapons scaled to your level

Hey Joltz! A quick point about the Claptrap DLC. It's fully completable at the start of the game and if completed all the way through, it can take a level 8-9 character up to halfway through 17. I've found that unlocking the gift shop early comes in handy for later on down the track. Even MINAC is possible with a bit of effort. Also for the Knoxx DLC, running over the Lance Assassins in the Monster gives nearly 500 XP per assassin. While it may slow down the chest run and make you spend more time in the Knoxx DLC, it does allow for easier completion of Clappy DLC and I've found about 10-15 assassin kills put me at level 9 to do the Clappy DLC. Love the video still! I know that a lot of these tips you gave have helped me in my BL1 runs! Keep up the good work!
The grenade bug. If you're going to buy the grenade SDU, make sure you've passed the "buy a grenade from Marcus vending machine" first. It you don't, it may bug grenades, making you unable to pass this mission.
Always enjoy your content. Question though. When rinse and repeating the loot to sell part though, do you have just save and exit current game session or do you actually have to quit the entire game and go back into the game from Xbox/ps/steam Home Screen?
Been watching your videos and twitch stream for a little while now. I've been hooked on bl2 like a crack addict but I just got bl1 and playing it for the first time this week... I kind of went backwards in the series and I can't help but think 2 is way better than 3 but that could only be because I can play end game and not have to worry about refarm idk.. I so hype for the new DLC tho. Anyway, this video helped me immensely with starting out. Thank you
Me and my friend just tried out BL remastered for the first time split screen and already found a few bugs or might be bugs? First, the game can't pause. the enemies still move around and attack when it should be paused or even when on the console home screen. Subtitles are really small, but only in splitscreen And some point the money counter just kept spinning forever and ever and ever, until the menu was opened Sometimes the XP message that shows you your xp reward for killing an enemy or completing a mission would stay on screen until a menu was opened. That bug where the "Hold x to use" message stays on screen These are what we have found and we are only up to the mine gate key
I would say that the pause issue is just bcause it's on split screen. When another player is logged in the ability to pause cuts out I guess. The others are minor bugs but the size of the font for subtitles is Bcause the screens are shared in split screen. Meaning the full screen is cut in half for 2 people obviously. Sorry for your luck with the pickup and xp bugs hopefully they will be fixed soon.

The way I do it is this: I start the character, progress the story to the point Joltz specified, except I finish that shield vendor mission to get a shield so I can do more grenade jumps in t bone without downing myself. I go to t-bone, do the missions, jump the car off the top for airborne xp, collect all the chest guns, sell it all, then I go to the underdome and farm a level 7 explosive longbow from the vendor. After I have my longbow and shield, I go back to t-bone and start doing chest runs until I have all the SDU’s, making sure to bank anything useful I may find for my character. The reason I do it this way is because without the shield, you can only do one grenade jump which makes the whole farm go slower. With the shield, you can grenade jump twice in quick succession without downing yourself, without the shield, you can’t. With that being said, it’s definitely worth it to finish the shield mission and farm a level 7 longbow before you start really farming for the SDU’s.

Depending on my rng, im back to main story at level 24-27 full of legendaries/good stuff that keep me on until end of the main story/level 40+ without having to care about gear. Btw the robolution dlc on my game at least scaled to level 10 so you can complete the whole thing if you wanted to
What's the name of your song that first played??
Did you get invited the borderlands 3 expo thingy?
The one on May 1st? Yeah, I think he said so on his Twitter.
Cj Is The Best i think he his bc he’s well known in the community
What are you playing on? I am on Xbox and the hang time challenge counter is stuck...
Wud about the red chest near, lost cave, it's a bandit base, that's underneath lost cave there's a red chest there, that spawns weapons around lvl 19-22, I got a crux, and I few good class mods for modericai, might be invalid cause it was borderlands before remastered.
Nah it's still the same, it's one of the only chests in that area at that level and I think maybe the only one that can drop class mods before sledge.
One more exploit to address, Joltz! I'm talking about instant "Orbit Achieved" at Piss Wash rump in Arid Badlands. Is red chest still at the Lvl 12 bandits camp in front of the arena?
It is still there
May favorite UA-camr
I've toyed a bit with these excursions but no where close to you. Thanx for the "balls to the walls boyz!" rally call...
Joltz I just finished my Lilith and wanna start a new character. Who should I pick :)
Can you buy those ammo cappasity things as many times as you want?
Ok question, can this be done on the original version? The boosting, sdu upgrades and money? Bcause I can't afford the remastered just yet but I have the goty edition on ps3
Yep
The chest room in the claptrap dlc, isn’t it supposed to scale to your level? Or am I wrong
It scales to your story mission level range.
First chest I got a purple level 35 double anarchy. Threw that in the bank for my Lilith whose still using a level 26 one.
Any idea how many legendaries there are in the chest run? I’ve only come across one but it’s different from the one you show here
Jacob Sotelo
Could get absolutely anything out of it. Reckon it’ll take a few runs to get a legendary.
Do you get more money if your level is lower? Like is there a difference between selling a lvl30 gun at lvl 1 or lvl 5?
No, money value are tied to gear level, rarity, parts and type, nothing else matters
@@TheMrStern3 k thx
joltz have you heard about the rainbow rarity weapons in bl2???
While me and my dad were playing borderlands goty edition we got like 5 total world drop legendarys. Is it increased in the version of the game or were we just really lucky
first run 120k realy nice thanks mate
I’m playing bl1 for the first time. On Xbox any tips I’m rank 18
