What a rig. Love have that. At one job we had a much older machine with 3 speed manual..manual tip..single cylinder Petter. Crank start but always fired up. Have fun Sir
The Massey is a 188 we modified to tracks many years ago and put a mast on it for boxes. Its been sitting up for about 18 months ill do a walk around some day when i go to get her out.
HI Landy man. Its A mf188 Multipower that we converted onto tracks using 2 Drott dozers around 20 years ago for digging potatoes. We put the forklift on the front to hold the boxes. Its been resting for about 18 months but I will do a video getting it running.
When cross starting at the starter go for the two wee spades use a coin or knive etc, its cause much less off an explosion and you wont burn out your starter near as quick as going at the two big nuts.
john deere thanks for the suggestion john Deere. The solenoid has packed in so jumping the plugs doesn’t work on this old girl unfortunately. I probably should rebuild the starter at some point.
Willie Dunne cheers pal it seems the solenoid is power is jamming on once you pull the battery cable out the starter disengages. I’ll have to pull the motor out and have a look but that’s a job for another video 😂😂
I'm subscribing because of your replies to the haters of the oil on the ground. If I were to play devil's advocate I could say you merely returned it to where it came from.😀. Having said that it's not something I would have done but your explanation covered it.
Neil Copping thanks for the subscribe, you gotta do what you gotta do. The ground was cleaned up after and there’s no trace left so no harm done. I hadn’t expected to have to drop the oil so I didn’t have a pan with me in the van and hadn’t time to go get one. You would swear from haters on this that I made it my life’s work to create the next BP oil spill.

It’s old, it’s rusty, it blows black smoke but it still does a days work when it’s asked even after sitting for years
I'd use that little dumper so much on the farm. would be extremely helpful to have!
Cetane I plan to use it a bit more over the coming year. It’s really handy to have on the farm
I was thinking the same...perfect size
A petter PJ3 33 Hp made in the factory in Staines had a special deep sump I remember them going down the production line !
That’s great to know what it is. We could never figure out if it was petter or duetz with the fan set up
Sounds good. Love a shower in water before the oil comes out lol
It does run quite sweet for a neglected old thing doesn’t it
The Massey tracked fork lift would be some machine to see in action or even a walk around never seen one before.

Hi, I noticed what looks like a MF135 tracked forklift in the background, do you have a video or any info on this please?

@@TheBigShedProjects that would be great, cheers for that.

Great job, once more around she goes , definitely beats a wheelbarrow !!
Michael Ashcraft thanks for the encouragement anything beats a wheel barrow 😂
I drove one brand spanking new around 1964
The older stuff seems to out live the newer models 😂
I assume it has a petter diesel engine think it was a twin cylinder motor on the thwaites model.
Gary Winterbottom it’s 3 cylinder duetz from what I can tell. Woefully under powered with a load
You may have discovered subsequently, but that's a Petter PJ3.
He's a lousy Camera man
I know tell me about it He is useless but at least he's trying I guess? Let me know when you upload a video to your channel so I can learn from YOU
i tried to watch it but it was recorded to chose. it was not enjoyable for me.
Thanks for the feed back. I’m just getting to grips with it I’ll try a different camera angle next time
If the starter is stuck it will stay connected and burn out
