Thank you for the support everyone but I can tell you at this point that I'm not the "chosen one". I got through the first stage and I was interviewed by the Wintersun guys at Sonic Pump studios. We played some riffs and songs with Jari and Teemu and chatted a few hours. It was really nice to get this far but Jari just called me that they now have some other guys in mind. I have no idea who they might be. Remember that there were a lot of application videos sent that aren't public! Subscribe my channel if you want to see some cool and extreme guitar stuff in future :)
I was already imagining you on the uniform but as you said, there are so many candidates that UA-cam people haven't seen. So no big surprise there. Though the guitarist they are going to have must be really fucking good. This was just superb playing.

When I first saw that I'd missed the deadline to audition for Wintersun, I kicked myself, but when I saw this audition, I know I didn't have a chance anyway, haha! By far the best audition, they need to get you on board :) - Daniel

Grats, your video is one of the closest, most accurate video, I mean timing AND sounding as well. The death&healing solo was simply awesome, very-very lively, as I've never seen before and I've seen a lot of that solo so far! I'm sorry for you not making it to be the 'chosen one', but hey, there could be a next time in the future, and even if there isn't, that means this was not your path - meaning your path may get you to even higher heights than your way ever could in Wintersun! (Edit: sorry, I just have to mention - no offense! - the Winter Madness solo was off somehow. Some parts I guess was not perfect with the sounding you used there, but no problem with techniques I guess!)
