- Here is a slightly redundant review and comparison of SK impact swivel sockets versus Craftsman non impact swivel sockets . .
That was a good video.
At 5:20 that is not a Grey Pneumatic socket on the left, that is a Sunex.
Very nice swivel sockets. I need to pick up some of those. They seem very handy.
Impact swivels are amazing
FYI, at 5:25 you refer to a Sunex socket as a Grey Pneumatic. Also (admittedly, ironic) are you just slightly OCD? :-)
I've had those SK sockets and and regular sockets and they are way above Craftsman or Harbor freight I say they are right there with snap on and other Highend tools..
Yes I agree SK really made some nice tools. I've heard that recently in the last few years that their quality has not been the same as they used to be they were bought out by the original owners and then they went bankrupt again and sold out a few years ago
SK was purchased by Ideal Industries in 2010 and again are 100% Made in the USA.
I LOVE sk ratchets.
Do you have an online source for buying individual impact sockets? Some of my sets are incomplete... any help would be appreciated
SK is at the same level as Snappy. Craftsman and Harbor Freight are equally shitty tools though. Both made in China.
Bryan Lawless the US made craftsman stuff was nice. Sure, not the greatest, but they were much better when they were made here.
Well, this comment didn’t age well😂
I had the HF ones on a 3/8 dr sunnex air impact using the 9/16 & 3/4 both of them while impact was hammering before it broke loose the bolt the pins came flying out & hit me in neck spring was undamaged I think the pins were a little short & when impact was hammering the pin has enough slop to come out.
You're not the first person who has mentioned issues like that with those springs on the Harbor Freight impact swivels. I will keep a close watch any issues I have I will make sure to make a video about
You wouldn't believe how expensive these are getting
So are ver nice . I have 30 year old sk stuff and it’s been great.
You know you have old SK when it's labeled Sherman klove
The best in My opinion
I am 73 and bought my first SK in 1959. Great tools. Yes they are as good as snap on.
For me personally I'll never give craftsman another dollar as there customer service sucks now. I've had good luck with sk stuff.
SK has been consistent over the years. I wonder if the new craftsman resellers will honor the warranty like Sears did, many stores are selling Craftsman now
Catus Maximus I warranty'd a Craftsman rachets at Ace hardware and they were happy to do it
Thanks
