You worked out at the gym in the middle of Ragbrai?!?! 😱 Umm I would have died for sure if I did that. Ragbrai was so hard...I was a newb this year and definitely learned a lot lol. I had 1400+ miles of training under my belt and it wasn't enough. If I ever do it again I'll be more prepared
I do a lot of other training; running, lifting, CrossFit, and I felt that the crossover was very helpful! I spent a total of 90 minutes on a bike from January in “training” for RAGBRAI. This was my first year too!
We followed David Ertl's training plan and we did get a lot of time on the bike, but I think if we had cut the bike time in half and did some cross training instead like you were doing, we'd have been in a better place. But overall we made some great memories on this adventure and we don't regret it at all!! We had so much fun! Thanks for the videos!!@@alexsalai
