My main men Mojo and Uncle Ted! My father, rest his soul, was a big fan of Don Williams. Other great songs from Don include "Tulsa Time" and "Amanda" (the latter popularly covered by Waylon Jrnnings). Thank you for this gents, brought back memories.
Don Williams was technically country, but his music just sort of transcends genre, it’s just plain GOOD music. Don’s music was actually popular in Africa, and in the 90s he toured Africa and even recorded a live show for DVD there. Just an amazing artist.
You are right. He was much more than country and his phrasing is unmatched! He also happens to be the greatest country singer of all time, in my opinion!
This reaction made my heart happy. And it reminds me of my dad who used to listen to this and many other gems containing all the important knowledge. God Bless ❤
Woo...we going way back with this one... Guy's! I grew up listening to Don with my dad and granddad. I wonder if ya'll know this one. "Ray Price - For The Good Times (Live)" 2 more throw-back's from the past. "Jim Reeves -Welcome to My World" Great Reaction Mojo... uncle Ted is so much fun~ Thanks for keeping great music alive~
My sister and I argue over who is better. Lol. Don Williams or Ray Price. I’m totally Don Williams. They both have amazing voices but just different sounds.
Loved this. You talked bout your Grandpa being a fiddle player, This link is to my favorite blue fiddle player, Gatemouth Brown. This prolly isn't a song you'd want to react to, but it's one you might really like. ua-cam.com/video/vseuUyU06dM/v-deo.html
Sorry. What a load of crap. He believes in Mom and Dad, babies and old folks...everything else in the lyrics cancels those building blocks out. I used to love this song. I was a fool.

Don got some soul 😊
Hooks you in with that first note in that base guitar.
If your going to hit some country with Uncle Ted, you will love tapping into Waylon Jennings live version of "I've Always Been Crazy".
Great song! And Uncle Ted put a wonderful image in my mind of a fiddle player on a white horse in Arkansas going to get the love of his life. Love it!
