My investment strategy is: - Most of my money is invested in index and mutual funds. - A large percentage of my portfolio is dedicated to dividend stocks (mostly blue chip) - 6 months worth of expenses is kept in a high interest savings account that matches or beats inflation - 1 months worth of expenses is kept in a chequeing account I stay away from day trading and spec stocks after learning the hard way

it's the same for me. everytime i make a video on a topic (investing in my case), it reinforces whatever i have learned. it's one thing for me to know these concepts but to explain it to another, it requires another level of clarity which i feel that doing videos have helped!

If I was talking to my kids, I'd tell them to invest in low-expense broad-market ETFs like VTI or VOO. Then just keep investing even if the market is going up or down, and after a few decades you should be well off. I personally invest in single stock quality dividend companies, but I wouldn't recommend that for others :)
But you are invested in multiple companies, so you have diversification on your side. Plus, you have done your research for the single company stocks, so they are a good choice for you. The broad market ETFs are great for people who don’t have the time or inclination to do a lot of research.
I really liked how you mention the high interest saving first. It's the least risk if not risk free way to make some money you're not using. I recently got a high interest saving account after using Bank of America for years. I also convinced my parents to open a high interest saving account, which is not easy.
Also a big fan of the high interest savings account, especially if you are undecided about where/how to proceed with investing. Is a smart move. As it is important to take the time to do the research necessary for launching a new investment. But in the meantime, that gives you a play to make so you aren't sitting stagnant. Quality video Nate!

You'll want one Roth IRA - Retirement. Stick with Mutual Funds. With a mix of different types where it spreads out your money, ...Real Estate, Index Funds, .... Individual stocks like Apple directly and ETFs tend to be riskier.

You need a significant amount of money to invest in real estate. $47 won't get you anywhere. Going to real estate meetings could give you good ideas for the future, but realistically you need a large amount of money. I've personally invested in a REIT, and it's not worth it at all unless you invest a significant amount.
What about a video about how to increase your income? Like asking for a raise tips, working towards a promotion tips, how to look for an upgrade in the job market for a higher paying job, etc
