The situation is very different. The central government in Japan has far more power than any central or south american government. Also, the military is far more loyal. If the violence would've spiraled out of control, the government would've declared martial law and have the military shoot Yakuza on sight. Or basically every Japanese person with Tatoos. I have a video suggestion (if you don’t mind of course) we all know that you are no stranger to snipers, (you might not know this sniper) he has a total of 642 confirmed kills, he fought in the 2003 Iraq war, against American soldiers and he fought as an Iraqi sniper his main weapon is the Tabuk7.62mm rifle, although Wikipedia says it’s a dragunov (don’t blame them they look exactly the same) And he recently died in 2017 by militias, apparently American soldiers/marines were so scared of him they gave him the nickname "Juba" which means Instant death or death in any form. I think it would be interesting if you make a video about him

You need to go to Hawaii if you want contraband weaponry. If a Yakiza wanted you dead he’d beat you to death with his own hands or stab you with knives, as well having tons of people dead isn’t exactly good for business. If a crime syndicate’s most important statistics for you is the kill count you’d be the worst criminal in history
9:30 this was actually true they tried to contact Michael who was In the area and knew that he was writing his next album and wanted to sponsor his first few shows
WE had many Japanese coming to stay in Vancouver, BC for a few years and one in 88 was a mistress of a real mobster in Japan, active in Hawaii in the hotel/entertainment business. When Japan arrested him they picked him up in a Limo and we saw it on NHK Japan TV. The mistress asked us to sell many items to try and raise bail. His wife...........just bailed.
I remember that being on TV here in Japan. The Yakuza went completely crazy in the 1980s- even seizing all of the country’s land assets and raising land prices by 2000% in 1 year (1986), causing the land prices in Japan to be more expensive than all the land in North America and Europe COMBINED. The Royal Palace ALONE was worth more than all the land in the United States. When they lowered the housing prices in 1992, they left millions of people homeless and scammed. They were completely crazy.
@@x6621 Economic stagnation followed. We are all still feeling it as Japan took over a decade to crawl out of the problem, and in some ways, still is. That meant a slow down in world class research and innovation in Japan in robotics, medical fields, manufacturing, supply chain advances like digital tracking and refrigeration that Japan had lead the world on, so we all got hit.
But the Japanese Yakuza Mafia was followed the Yama-Ichi Yakuza War (1985-89) were exile in Japan and moved and arrival to the Philippines since 1986 with the Filipino mafia was followed the given the drug dealers, big money and weapons and followed them in the 1986 EDSA People Power Revolt against Marcos Regime and among the Japanese Yakuza and Filipino Mafia around in Metro Manila were arrested by the Integrated National Police, the Philippine Constabulary and the National Bureau of Investigation and put to Philippine Prison and Back to Japan.

A video on the 5 major mafia families of New York's Mafia would be amazing. My favorite family out of the 5 was the Gambino family. Who's boss was Carlo Gambino, an Italian-American crime boss.
Hey simple history, nice vid. I think it would be interesting if you make a video about him
Definitely a George Soros funded bot No Iraqi Rambo is still alive and Abu Salih is the guy I’m talking about which is his real name and he was killed in action in 2017, but thank you for asking me
not real man must be propaganda in your country because he is definitely not responsible for 20% of americans killed in IRAQ war
MelikeSandler I know you might think Saddam Hussein is a lier but even Wikipedia says that he has 642 confirmed kills
TheFandrian the wall (featuring John Cena) was a good movie but the Americans never killed him In real life
Crime syndicate against another crime syndicate.
I dont remember Yakuza being about real life events
Haha, good one
I recommend sir about how the Philippines discovered by Ferdinand Magellan from Spain then gets fight with Lapu-Lapu the Philipine Hero. Hope you'll make some animations for this sir and I know lots of your subscribers will love it!
Both sides must’ve been stormtroopers, with a war 2 years long and 25 deaths
No its that Japans norm isn't daily gangland shootings, so when there are any, for Japan, its a lot
You need to go to Hawaii if you want contraband weaponry. If a Yakiza wanted you dead he’d beat you to death with his own hands or stab you with knives, as well having tons of people dead isn’t exactly good for business.
If a crime syndicate’s most important statistics for you is the kill count you’d be the worst criminal in history
that we know of...
I wonder what Al Capone and Clyde would think of them
Or El Chapo and Pablo Escobar
10:00 Ladies and gentlemen, WE GOT 'EM
I have learned more in this video than an entire month of school
This war seems to be so well known that it even got covered in the first chapter of Teddy Boy manhua/comic
I appreciate the AE86 for a “period correct” appearance in 1980’s Japan 10:35
7:47 most badass assassination animation in 2020.....

Great me to
You did a great job giving this video an 80's style. It's like the Japanese GTA Vice City
Who else loves when they upload something?
Me
I see yakuza, I instantly think of “archer” 🤣
This is literally the plot of Yakuza 2
Sick videos! You’re the only hope of my intelligence surviving during quarantine. Keep it up. 👍🏼

I wouldn't be surprised if Takeshi Kitano had taken this Yakuza war as inspirationfor his films.
Love your content bro keep it up
7:52 it looks like Yakuza Kiwami 2 scene
Absolutely enjoyed the video. Can't wait for more on the history of gangs.

"his ears, tongue and middle-finger had been cut off"
can still quite clearly see ears on body and no wound on either hand
It was an animation and he was facedown in water?
GOod greif start your own damn channel and do it then

Fix your grammar
These type of gangster videos are really interesting, maybe you could do one on some historic british gangsters like the krays Richardson’s or maybe the real peaky fookin blinders.
