- By viewer request, Las Vegas Inside & Out headed over to Resorts World last Sunday, to sample the first all-vegan brunch buffet on the Strip - at Crossroads Kitchen. This very successful L.A. eatery opened up shop at Resorts World last summer, and has achieved notoriety for its ambiance, service, and delicious plant-based menu from Chef-to-the-stars Tal Ronnen. And now, they have a Sunday brunch! Come on along and sample all the goodies...

When vegetarian or vegan food is prepared with excellence, you TRULY don’t miss the meat and dairy! I eat everything but know this to be true. I think it’s wonderful that this vegan restaurant has opened and if their food is excellent, they will succeed.
I agree, and they will succeed - they already have in LA, and the crowds are definitely showing up at the Vegas location.
We love Crossroads!! it’s an awesome menu for vegans and non-vegan’s alike.
It is incredibly popular, after only having been here a year - interested to try a dinner entree!

Well there are a whole lot of folks who visit here from parts of the world where they don't eat much meat - so it's kind of a sure thing!

I do enjoy vegan so the food looked delicious! I am also a tiramisu fan! My only complaint would be the extra charge for the tea. I can understand the additional fee for the exotic drink but would think they would include tea in the base cost of the buffet. Happy to hear that Dale is doing better!
I agree - I think that was my only complaint honestly. Really lovely dining room, terrific service, all big thumbs up.

We have a crossroads kitchen here in Joshua tree which is always busy. The place in Vegas looks beautiful I love the black and white photos and fresh flowers, I love vegan food, this looks excellent but, $70.00 for a brunch is a bit much for my pocketbook. Yikes! Yes, I know it's Vegas, but still... I love old standards too! 🎉 Great Job Paula 🎉 Best to you and Dale.
You live in Joshua Tree? How lovely! It is a beautiful dining room, and I too loved the B&W photos and the fresh roses. But yeah, when you consider for just a couple dollars more, you could go across the road to the Wynn Buffet and have 20 times more to choose from...hmmm.
The food looked delicious and an added bonus is the elegant setting. Glad to see that people are going to Resorts World.
I agree - for some reason I really like the place, and want it to do well. And yes, that restaurant was really classy, I loved the interior and the music, the vibe.
Hey guys, I’ve often thought to ask you about doing a show on lounge singers, and seeing one of our favorites in this video prompted me to write. Nicholas Cole was the singer in the Crossroads Kitchen, and he is a regular at the Italian American Club. There’s several others like David “The Saxman” Brown who plays at Harrah’s. I think people would enjoy knowing about these artists.
Thank you VERY MUCH for the info on Mr. Cole, really happy to learn his name and where we might see him perform! Your suggestion is a terrific one, and as you can imagine, a subject very near and dear to Dale's heart. Would be quite a project though - certainly a bigger endeavor than our weekly vlogs.

Paula, if I'm not mistaken, I believe the pianist is Nicholas Cole. He plays the piano at dinner time at Buddy V's Italian restaurant in the Venetian. We met him years ago while having dinner there. He is not only an extremely talented pianist but a very nice man. Great vlog as always. ❤❤

Chef Ronnen is Israeli and Israel has the highest percentage of vegans in the world (third highest percentage of vegetarians after India and Mexico).
Yes, that sounds about right! I worked for many years with a large number of folks from India (IT analysts), and most of them were vegan or vegetarian.
Another great video! There seemed to be a lot of choices. I did think it was pricey for a brunch with plant based food and didn’t include your tea.

Great video Paula. Thanks for trying out this place. It is a hard pass for me. For around the same price, one can do the Wynn buffet which has tons more options, including vegan, with drinks included. Imagine taking a family there, it would cost hundreds. Thx for taking us on this ride with you. The drink looked very good
Truthfully, I agree with you 100%. 😉 You get wayyyy more for your buffet dollar (including a lot of vegan and vegetarian options) at Wynn.

No although we have heard good things about it for years! Will definitely have to go explore it - we love going somewhere that isn’t the Strip. 😊
@@paulamckenzie Anything in Vegas built before 1948 has got to be great. As the Hitching Post was built in 1948. I call the "dress code" blue collar casual and to me that means blue jeans and tees.

Paula, the bacon was not real and so the eggs. As someone who tried vegan, I did not like the imitation of eggs or bacon, but again, maybe this was OK. Thank you for taking us to the ride.
Totally agree .here in Australia the government is considering banning the use of meat names for plant based foods...so oat milk can't say "milk" nor the use of the word "bacon" unless it said plant bacon ...❤
I knew that there was no meat anywhere on the buffet, but I agree wholeheartedly with Kenneth's comment: if it isn't egg, or bacon, or whatever, then the label should have a qualifier so we know for sure.
What was the cost of the brunch buffet?
It is $49 per person, not including a beverage.
My meat eating friend describes vegan bacon as tasting like bacon flavored potato chips 🤣

Mmm, I don't know...the one in LA is incredibly popular, and eating vegan is very trendy right now...time will tell. Chef Ronnen is Israeli, and there are lots of folks from that part of the world that are vegan.

Some plant-based products contain fillers and are very high in sodium and saturated fats. Hard pass
No doubt that is true - we aren't making any statement or endorsement of plant-based food, we just went to a buffet because one of our viewers requested that we go. 😊
