invaluable insights challenging narrow stereotypes of autism in the context of employment and in exploring mental health and other pressures on autistic doctors and the autistic population generally .

These are in reality people from an insular upper-class background who have no experience with people outside that environment and who struggle relating to that, or they are people who go from being the best in their class or school to the worst in medical school or spent their entire time cramming to get into get into medical school. If you really have Autism, you either didn't get past 4th grade math or you were so fed up with everyone and everything at age 14 that you'd rather sweep streets than go to school.

Have you considered that plenty of health professionals are first generation college graduates in their family? Lots of them have an every day background - not something you'd notice looking at the outside person, nor usually discussed during patient care or academic studies. Tenacity tends to be a core autistic/neurodivergent trait.

How do ASD patients get to communicate with an autistic doctor in the UK? Especially in Men's Health?
    Thank you 💝

So autistic doctors do exist! I was wondering if that was a thing.

Attention to detail, creative diagnosis, ability to connect with patients, work ethic, loyalty- a few of them.
