Full time bed and full time eating and working space ....I cannot wait for the tour of your choice.....this answers all the questions I would have had for you if I actually spoke in person....you are amazing...and I would love to see what you chose and why...... Thank you for being honest
Surprising video......I didn’t realize you were even considering another RV. My husband and I have bought 5 brand new motor homes through the years, getting progressively larger and fancier with each one. Along with the bells and whistles came all the headaches; different manufacturers made no difference. Last year we purchased a 2015 Four Winds 22e Class C with no slides and absolutely love it. A fixed bed, large dining booth, a swivel passenger seat, and a dry bath. Love, love, love how easy it is to drive, how easily we fit into any camp spot, and not having to tow a car. Spent 6 months in it last year and heading to AZ as I type this. Good luck with your purchase.....I hope you’re as happy with your new rig as we are with ours.
My jaw dropped when you told us you switched and the background was different. Congrats on the new place. I recently had an RV show in my city and your "old" van was there. I am making my list of my wants and needs. Each video helps me have glimpse into the lifestyle thanks so much for sharing it with us.
You have provided such a good service by sharing your honest experience with Leisure. You were beyond patient with them and I am looking forward to see what you purchased instead.
I can't even TELL you how wonderful this and all your video's are!!!! I plan on going full-time nomad in 5 years, and your guides and advice are invaluable! Thank you! You are my hero!
Good for you, Robin, for giving us the straight story. Most people do not have the time or money to deal with constant repairs and the irritation of terrible no service. Your honest review is exactly what we need to hear. Can't wait to hear about and see your new rig. Congrats.

So glad I came across this update... I am looking for our next RV and was looking at a 2020 Travel Van Unity with Twin Bed floor plan. Up until now all I have read about them was positive. Seeing this from someone that lives in it full time shines a completely light on it. Very appreciative of putting this out. Thank you!! I want the least amount of issues, so looking at one without any slide outs. Also looking forward to when we get older so a Twin bed that can convert to a larger bed is what we want... we will setup as single bed for now and, when age does not allow to move freely/easily, we will move to full use of Twin setup.
Bless you for this honest, helpful review! The Leisure Travel Vans looked really good to me, but I always wondered about quality issues and customer service, and finding a thorough review like yours is hard to find.
2019 Unity has legless, wind sensor awnings, 2018’s have key fob remote door locks option, macerator option has been available for a few years, making stinky slinky a backup, TV lift mechanism has worked perfectly for us, parts come from the US, take a few days to receive.
WOW! THIS is perhaps the very best 'inside' look at RV ownership and travel I've ever seen. Love her truth about the things that DIDN'T work- so real. Rust, little, hard to replace batteries, poorly installed solar panels (Watch RVing with Tito for much better ideas!), stinky slinky nonsense, trash location, bad power outlet placement- things you only get with daily, or, traveling time. Flooding! Not redesigned! WHAT? BUT, horrible customer service is unexcusable. Unresponsive, forgetting constantly, no follow through is not acceptable. The Canadian/US interaction may be an added difficulty, but- in a specialized build, parts from all over the world makes this REALLY hard. Three weeks is too long. It is gorgeous, space is pretty exceptional, and, much works as described, but- when anything doesn't- the repair time/effort required really defines the ownership experience. So, even small things become a huge hassle. She has been very fair with build quality from new (All have a punch list, LTV is NOT immune). 1,000 Thanks from an unabashed LTV devotee- VERY eye-opening. So grateful for your experience sharing. Priceless really. Dave

So appreciate this video, thank you! I was considering this travel van but i'm in the US as well, so you're information was tremendously helpful, thank you!!
We have a 2014.5 LTV Serenity and love it. The Unity Murphy bed model didn't suit us as we wanted separate living areas, a bigger salon area (we've seated 6 around our big table) and no slide (negative experiences with previous RVs with slides). The storage bay doors open downward (no hitting your head). Fortunately we required very little warranty work and the Sprinter chassis is running great. We found LTV fit and finish to be very good, but the Serenity is assembled quite differently than the Unity. We downsized from a 42' Class A. I appreciate your honest perspective as a working full-timer in a Unity MB. Good luck ... and looking forward to future videos of your next RV!

Oh no.....not that long....I’ll go into panicking mode....actively looking for an RV and loved the Unity but recent,y with the issues started looking at the Wonder Twin Bed....but still a Leisure..... hmmmm I also needed a dedicated bed, and desk, and storage for dog gates and fences and rugs...... so now anxious to hear...because Robin is so Honest and says what she sees, I trust her evaluations...most evaluations come from salespeople and they mean “diddly” in real life
Valerie King check out Advance RV. They have a gently used RV that was made for a couple that had show dogs and it's for sail. They by far, are the best RVs on the road and they use MB.
Thanks Robin, you really put my mind at ease. I really wanted a leisure travel van, serenity model, but we ended up getting a host truck camper, with three slides, that sits on top of a customized flatbed ram 5500 truck. My husband and I were really at odds about the choice and he won out. I was not happy about it. But now after reading your review, I can’t tell you how much of a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. We are in the process of selling everything, getting the rig ready and taking off on the road in about six months. I love love love the way you deliver the information that you want to impart. You get straight to the point, you’re not all flowers and talking about yourself and you have clear distinct diction. Hope to see you soon.
THANK YOU Ms. Robin for your honor & integrity. I wish more ppl were this honest with their RV problems so that others don't walk into the same thing, thus, making these builders rise their standards/integrity of builds. If more ppl like you, would put them on blast, maybe they would step up their game. I guess they still don't get it, they don't realize that more and more ppl are choosing fulltime RVing and it is in their best interest to build these RVs 150% better than what they are building now. Ugh. I've been shopping for 2 months now and all I'm finding is poorly made junk. Ugh. Can't WAIT to see your tour of your new home. So encouraged to hear that the service was immediate, THAT'S my biggest fear!! Blessings in your new Rig. Plz let me know where you purchased it. Again thank you for your honesty, its so refreshing!! Standing by for your tour!!
I am so happy for you. Living in an environment where you are always waiting for the next shoe to drop has to be one of the most anxiety-producing scenarios possible. Because you are such a positive role model to so many of us, showing us that one does not need to stay stuck in a bad situation is especially refreshing. Further, you are right about many (most) LTV owners being part timers. In fact, from what I can see from the Facebook group, many spend a few weeks up to a few months traveling and then have lovely homes to return to. Additionally, many are staying at expensive RV resorts, which implies the owners have money to burn. As always, you have been transparent and honest and shared that your experience is your experience alone. Thanks for that.
In a UA-cam space full of shills who don't disclose that they are paid or given a free rig by a manufacturer, you have been a refreshingly honest and unbought contributor. If we had more like you, consumers could make better choices and RV manufacturers might clean up their act. Thanks for your honesty. Can't wait to see your new rig.
Thanks Robin! Your honesty is refreshing and you didn't get mad just even!! We traded our new class b for a used b+ after soooooo many problems and got a nice bit of cash back in the process. You do such a great service for us campers and full timers that we should all do our purchases at Amazon thru you and I know I will! Thanks again and " BE FREE".
I was so decided and with my heart set on getting the Unity Island Bed, but after having seen this video and doing some subsequent research, no no no no no! I was completely idealizing this brand, so thank you so much for uploading this! you saved me a world of headaches.
Lots of great information. I’ve always admired LTV for there innovative layouts. Your service experience was an eye opener and certainly makes you think twice. Looking forward to seeing your new rig. I think I know what you purchased😊🤫
Don't let one UA-camr change your opinion. There are MANY LTV owners who LOVE their RVs. We have a 2017 Unity MB and we LOVE IT! Best decision we ever made.
Thanks so much for sharing this Robin. I was sold on Leisure Travel Vans but now won’t waste my time looking at them. I’m hoping to go full time in the next couple years and am going to my first RV show in a couple of weeks. I really appreciate your channel. I’ve learned so much from you. 💜
Robin is only giving half the story. Most of her issues were with the dealer, not LTV directly, and having 1 person with a bad experience vs thousands shouldn't be what turns you away from buying a particular brand. If I told you of the shitty service I've received from apple, would you no longer buy iPhones or Macs? I think not. And calling some of the people of their service department out by name? Not cool, especially since there are literally hundreds if not thousands of others who have dealt with the same people and have had fantastic service.
No reply from a customers call is bad service. Unable to purchase parts is bad business. Dealers should know more about whom they send their customers to for service. @@getyourfactsstraight5000
Best. RV. Review. Ever. Wow! Thank you for sharing. Been seriously considering a Leisure Travel, even met Dean at one of the last big RV shows. I, too, didn’t like those little windows used by LT and others under the guise of “keeping rain out.” One of my favorite things about my last RV I bought new was the large sliding windows. Open one of those puppies up and let that breeze blow in. I’m camping in an RV, I want to feel the elements! Was having the same thoughts about Murphy beds that you experienced, as well as the need for a separate work space. My other problem with various LT models is the lack of 3-point seat belts beyond the driver and passenger seats. Seems like they’re starting to incorporate lap belts in some models, but others had none at all. I was still considering purchasing one, as any RV is going to have its compromises, and I was thinking I could customize the coach to some extent, but after discovering your video and channel, I’m going to pass. Thanks again. Great passion. Great honesty. Great video.
Can't wait to see your new rig!! You had more patience than I would have, glad you let it go and passed on the info so others will be aware if they want it live in one full time. Thanks Robin and Happy Travels!
Hate is such a strong word. I’m not full time but I love my LTV Unity Corner Bed with dinette. Since you are flying solo and want permanent office space maybe you should consider that floor plan.
So glad I found this review before putting down money on an LTV. I have been wanting an LTV or Winnebago for 2 years, and this information about their customer service has helped me make the decision to remove LTV from my wish list!!
Very eye opening for me. I watch the videos of different Class Bs and of course, it’s shown by the salesman. He/she “loves” all the features shows them in their best light. You’ve shown me not to be shade by the glowing descriptions. I fell like when the day comes that I can buy one, I will be a bit smarter than I was before your video. Thank you 😊
Thank you for being honest I was just getting ready to buy a leisure van and now knowing this I wouldn't want that headache and I have heard others say the same thing so I'm glad to hear it from you cause now I know go another route and you pointed out other things like needing a full-time workspace and bed that's very important to me too . I love your channel
Bravo Robin! This is exactly what this community needs- true, honest, non biased information! You have done well in helping others see what you went through, and then see the resolution of that. I feel that it is reasonable to believe that this very expensive vehicle/house, should perform to a livable standard. It is not acceptable to not have your communications to a professional company answered in a reasonable amount of time. I respect you Robin for being honest and sharing that with the community- I am sure that you saved someone from going through this same experience. I can’t wait to see your new rig! Oh please don’t make us wait a week!! Lol! Here’s to happy and safe travels!
Excited for you and your new RV! No one should have to endure the issues you went through. All RV's have problems but if you can at least get service or parts life is much simpler. Looking forward to your tour! Rock on Robin!
I have heard from several FT youtubers that your first RV is often not the "perfect" one. A B+ was one I briefly considered and I liked the idea of urban stealth boondocking, But I know I am one who "needs" to pack for a month on a weekend trip! Can't wait to see what you bought!
After viewing that harrowing video about your terrible warranty problems and awful service this is really a welcome video. I didn't think you would mess around and continue to suffer what could be fixed, and hooray you fixed it with a new RV! At the conclusion here you reinforce that you still love your RV life, and that sure made me happy to hear. Now I'm anxious to see what American made RV you bought and the grand tour!
Congrats! I can't wait to see what you bought! For me, the hardest adjustment has been limited clothes! I love clothes! And I love Goodwill! It's been hard to keep them to a minimum. 🙄
As a Unity MB owner, I’ve followed your videos with great interest. I’m disappointed that the Unity didn’t work out for you long term. I agree with many of your likes and dislikes about the Unity. I’ve had none of the bad luck you experienced in the year I’ve owned my rig but I don’t full time. Also, the Murphy bed works well for me and my wife. So far I have no reason to question my choice of rig. I remember that in one of your early videos you mentioned resale value as one key to your decision to go with a Leisure Travel Van. Now that you’ve traded in your Unity, has your assessment about resale value been confirmed? Also, I paid close attention to your early video about your budget. At the time I wondered why your budget didn’t include provision for rig replacement cost. After all, all rigs eventually wear out. I’m wondering how you managed to finance a new rig on your budget. Thanks for your videos. I’ll still be a subscriber even though you’ve moved onto a different rig because they’re interesting and insightful.
I’m glad to hear that her issues weren’t necessarily universal. This is one of the few rigs I have my eye on. Like you, we wouldn’t be full time either.
Outstanding!!! Good on you, Robin, for not settling and sayng, "Well this is what I've got and I'm stuck with it." I can't wait to see your new rig!! Safe travels! See ya out there!
This is a great and honest post. Thank you! We just got our sightseer out of the shop after a month, it’s humbling to see that we aren’t the only ones who have been through these types of situations.
Thank you for your honesty!! Cant wait to see what you have now. I listened to your warranty nightmare not too long ago. How horrible. You seem much happier. Have a great day!
I am so glad I came across your review. I was just about to pull the trigger and purchase the 2020 Unity MB. Thank you so much for your brutal but honest review.
We’ve had our Leisure Travel van, with the Murphy Bed, since 2019 and absolutely LOVE it. It’s a fantastic RV. Seems Robin’s HATES are just preference issues. Sorry you had service issues, but I think your situation is not the norm-certainly hasn’t been our experience. A++
You are truly a consumer advocate Thank you for your honest opinions and telling us about your experience with service departments Now a days we have Yelp which makes us all greatly informed in everything we do Listen to the reactions then make the decision. This will make me a better consumer
Thanks for your honest review. I wish everyone would give their candid point of view. I purchased my b class RV based on a positive review from a couple on UA-cam ( don’t want to mention their name) what a mistake trusting their opinion.

Thanks Robin... Really want to see your new home... still waiting for spring to finish up my Skoolie. Kinda cold here right now.. Safe Travels and Great to see someone be Honest and Free. :)
Wow Robin! These are things that so many people wouldn't think about because we would all be looking at cosmetic or mechanical issues. Customer service on the road is a BIG item and how well the space is engineered is huge too. Thanks for sharing your experience. You're amazing!
Robin, thank you for this video. I am a big fan of yours. I was in love with Leisure Travel Van Rear Lounge. But after watching this video and after sitting on the rear lounge at Hershey RV Show, my husband and I are now looking at Pleasure-Way. Trying to decide between the Ascent, Lexor and the OnTour. We are documenting our journey in finding "the RV" via videos.
Can’t wait to see your new rig! You may have heard that EHGNA, the company that built my Roadtrek went into receivership on Feb. 15th. I was 5 months into a 6 year warranty that is now non existent. Life kinda sucks right now. Hope to cross paths again!
I looked at this one for full time living before but rejected it for a couple of the reasons you mentioned. #1 If you are living in it, the last thing you want to do is open and close a bed. #2 if you have a significant other and you get sick, where do they go? Only the cab seats are open to use and they wouldn't be able to watch TV while you are sleeping. Many people like the FX for this reason. I think for vacation it is fine. If you work while RVing, you need a dedicated eating place, working place, and sleeping place.
So glad these videos are made. I noticed the RV was empty. I said out loud "she got a new RV" lol. Can't wait to see what you ended up with. Safe travels.
Tell it, sistah! You've had so much trouble with that company. No one should have to deal with the issues and frustration you have had...you are right to be honest with your viewers. I hope this helps others who are in the decision making stage of purchasing a new rv. I admire your bravery and honesty.
Thanks! Ur videos are truthful, professional and encouraging for RV fulltime. We are excited on potential for traveling soon in our rv we renovated. You make great videos too. Your experience is common. We live in Atlanta, and we've had similar problems with onan genset. It spent more time in shop than on the road. We still have problems, but we know our van
Congrats on the new rig and YES! This has been helpful! I’m in the dream phase right now and LYV is now off my list of possibilities. Thank you for your honesty ! Love your channel!
Hi Robin, I didn't have the mechanical issues you had with your Unity MB. I traded mine because of the Murphy Bed--I, too, got tired of putting it up and down so that I could have a work surface, and mine was a 2013 unit, so it had a mechanical motor. Also, once out of warranty, the repair bills would have been astronomical. I bought a 22.6 foot travel trailer (pulled by a Jeep Grand Cherokee) because the Sprinter chassis was not wide enough to accommodate me and my 35-lb and 70-lb dogs. Congratulations on your new rig.
Great video, Robin. Hope the new rig has more room for Doug visits and Big Boy! Thank you for taking time to make such informative videos. Can't wait to hear about your new setup! 😽
I'm not an RV'er but love ou and Bob, but you've been having problems with your RV and months back I thought- ahhh doesn't seem like a good one. So glad you gettng something else.
So good to hear and see you in a much better... suitable RV... the silver lining after the storm. Congratulations‼️🎉👏 And I wish you the best of comfort and peace...joy in your new RV-home. Happy and Safe Travels!🚘🛣️🌈 😄. *Van 🚐 Wings* 🦋.
Robin, my hubby and I almost bought a leisure travel van. Thankfully we wanted to look at reviews first. Thanks for saving us thousands of dollars! Can't wait to see what you purchased!
It would be awesome if Leisure Travel hears of this video. They WERE my number 1 choice for getting a new 2019 RV this summer. You saved me a lot of headaches! Thanks so much! You rock!
I have loved Robins videos, and all her info, and I am sorry she has experienced such poor service from LTV. However, I love my LTV CB, and on the Rv forums and FB pages, most peoples experience with LTV customer service department has been positive. I have had no problems so far. i wouldn’t write off the whole brand based on Robins experience. Do more research
Perfectly understandable that you learn along the way that a certain floor plan wouldn’t work. Sorry you had such a bad experience with customer service at LTV. I have only heard good things about their customer service, so, i think your experience is not the norm. I have a LTV cornerbed, and I love it. However, I am not full time, though I do plan on some longer trips. I think there are certain compromises you have to make when designing and living in a smaller RV. The benefit is its mobility and being able to drive/park anywhere. LTV’s are quality RV’s. Hope your bad experience doesn’t put off too many people.
Robin if more people would give honest opinions about their dealings with different products maybe the industry would correct itself. Thanks for telling your problems. Alan

Yes I think that one is called Rocky. The owners pick names for them not by models etc.
yopogio that’s a beauty.....that’s now on my list.....won’t sell to Canada but I can buy and keep it at a friends place in usa
You are such a nice honest person. Thanks for all the info.
I’m so glad I saw your video. I never thought of issues that might arise because LTV is a Canadian manufacturer. Thank you!
Wow! What an eyeopener - I had wanted a LTV for over a year. You're problems have made me reconsider. Thanks for the heads up.
Well done on presenting the problems without being derogatory to anyone. I think highly of you for this.
Best. RV. Review. Ever.
I’m happy for you! It’s time for you to catch a break and enjoy being on the road again! Can’t wait for the new tour.
Can't wait to see your new rig!! You had more patience than I would have, glad you let it go and passed on the info so others will be aware if they want it live in one full time. Thanks Robin and Happy Travels!
Thank you. I was looking at the Leisure Travel Van for sure. Ready to go full time in a couple years.
Reviews like this are very helpful to everyone. Especially sharing repair shop reviews to keep them on their toes. Great video, thank you
After viewing that harrowing video about your terrible warranty problems and awful service this is really a welcome video. I didn't think you would mess around and continue to suffer what could be fixed, and hooray you fixed it with a new RV! At the conclusion here you reinforce that you still love your RV life, and that sure made me happy to hear. Now I'm anxious to see what American made RV you bought and the grand tour!
We have a 2017 LTV Unity MB and we LOVE IT! It is the perfect RV for us! The company is FANTASTIC!
I'm glad you like it!
As with all relationships, it is the bad and the unreliable parts that kill it.
YES YES YES!!! You moved to something so much better.
You were more than patient
And understanding with your old RV. Great video Robin.
We were looking at a Unity, but no more. Thank you for this video.
God, I just LOVE how you tell it like it is. You really have low nonsense tolerance. Love it!!!!
Thank you for your honest opinion! I found this very helpful.
WOW! WOW! WOW!
So happy for you now!
This is the kind of integrity we need to learn from on the road.
!!! Thank you Robin !!!
Thank you for your honest remarks.
A true testament to your character trading it in instead of dumping it on someone else! You go gurl!! Live right! ☯
Where do you think trades end up?
@@SSVHD really!? LOL
Robin hi my name is jose and I was gonna buy a Rig like yours I m so glad I watch this video make the difference I m very thankful to you for saving me from that ordeal thank you and God bless you.
I so appreciate your review. I am just searching for a full time RV for single 64 yo woman. I really appreciate you sharing very candidly your experience. I must admit I fell in love with Unity but think I’ll do more research. First gonna look for your review of your new rig. Thanks again.
Wow! Thank you so much for your candor. I will not even consider the Leisure Travel Van. I cannot WAIT to see the new rig!!!
I cannot wait!!! Excited for you. I recently got a Pleasure Way Plateau XLTS and I’m loving it. Had an issue with an electrical cover and got immediate help!
What a terrific and thorough review. I am so glad you decided to cut your losses and move on to another rig. I have no doubt you are already thrilled with that very smart decision! Congrats! Can't wait to see the new one. Happy travels!!!🚐
Thank you for the review of your previous home. I felt your pain!
We appreciate your honesty and I know all other UA-camr wants to get ad support and doesn’t mention about the negativity of their model.
Thanks Robin... Really want to see your new home... still waiting for spring to finish up my Skoolie. Kinda cold here right now.. Safe Travels and Great to see someone be Honest and Free. :)
♥️ Robin you are loved by so many for a good reason ...😊
So very helpful! Thank you for your thorough and honest review.
You absolutely rock Robin, we can depend on your honesty with information good or bad. Thank you and again thank you for sharing.
Good for you Robin and kudos for knowing when it was time to just move on!!! Can’t wait to see the new rig!!!
Thanks for this fair and detailed report on your RV Robyn, and especially its service providers! Can't wait to see your new " rig"!
LTV forums tell the story of thousands of happy owners. Emailed WillIe once, parts were at my door a few days later, no questions asked.
Good for you, Robin! I appreciate the honesty in all of your videos. Be happy. Be safe.
Thank you for such informative videos. Safe travels!
