Fading Steps
- Set in guideline with 0 lever closed
- lever open set in next guideline
- 1 guard lever open next guideline
- 1.5, 2 & 3 guard blend up
- Blend second guideline w/ .5 guard open to 3 qtr
- Continue blending second guideline w/ 1 guard 3qtr
- Blend first guideline w zero, lever closed
- Open lever half way, continue blending
- Continue blending with lever open
- Do any touch up work
- Use trimmers to take out bottom hair
- Use electric shaver
- Do any line up with trimmers
- Shave with straight razor

Adrian, when you are using the 0.5 guard and the 1 guard at 3/4 to fade the 1 guard open line, do you lean in the clipper? Because due to the fast camera I couldn't notice if you were doing it and I remember that when you and Sergio were teaching the twins how to fade it, Sergio recommended him to lean it in a little. Hope this doubt becomes helpful to explain that.

Just picked up the style craft apex clippers and it has 1-6 guards. It also came with a 0 and 1.5 does the 0 guard replace the 0.5 guard. Would it be better if I look into getting a 0.5 guard?

@@Loukask when you do w opens you have to blend out the line with a closed.
So 1open

Then fade out the line with a 2 closed. Use the corners of the clipper and the lever if the person has a full head of hair like kids etc.
