Something that goes unmentioned, but is relatively important, is that there's a cooldown between each attempt on disarming of 1 second. Also swingblocking prevents getting disarmed entirely (which is why it's rare to see disarms at high level play)
I'm not sure what platform you play on, but u can change your camera sensitivity in settings so movements are a but snappier. Works better on PC, but still possible on mobild

From what I've seen, forward and backward disarms are compatible, as I've gotten overhead disarms by moving backward and aiming overhead. I mean it does seem like it'd be that way, considering the animations are identical. Spear main btw. I love it when some new player runs up and gives me a free overhead disarm, esp when they immediately go to the chat and say I'm cheating when there's literally a forum guide on how to play in the description-
I did it overhead once in the game, but other attacks exept of overhead disarms dont work ingame or in the trainingspot. Did i fogot something? Guard and attack at the same time and in the moment of impact move Forward to manual block. Thats how i do it with Overhead. But how to do others?

Yeah, so you deal more damage when you use the red or purple form, or, more likely they are doing interrupts, which is basically them attacking at the same time as you. To counter it I suggest playing more cautious, not swinging too much, slapping as often as u can, and maybe learning to yaw 👍
honestly, no, the only thing i'd be cautious with is that u might focus too much on the disarm and forget to attack and do all the other stuff, but if u are good enough (i'm not...) then thats a good strat :)
This helped horribly I tried doing doing it for starter saber it’s not doing it I’m not doing practice bc it’s not actually doing it and Manuel black makes it harder I used a dummy they attacked I walked in I looked up my saber just goes to the side so 3 minutes of watching this video out of my life down the drain and another 14 minutes trying to disarm the dummy
Sorry u aren't understanding it, but this is the simplest way it can be explained. Maybe look for some other tutorials and see if they explain it any better

@@DubRgamesI do this on Xbox. You don’t need to move that much to disarm. And disarm should mainly be done on their first attack.

Yes you are very right disarming is very difficult and if you can do it to a very high standard you can win 99% of the duels you do.

Double checked, to quote the wiki:
Invert the height, but remain on the same side. For example, if opponent uses WA swing, you use a SA to disarm.

yea, thats a rough one. Disarms are tricky on PC, so are probably quite hard on mobile

On PC, you hold both of your mouse buttons, then use the wasd keys to walk and control your block directions 😀

It's explained in the video, perfect blocking and manual blocking are the same :)

You block as normal, by holding rmb, then look in the direction of the swing. I'm pretty sure I included that but sry if not
